It isn't to make the fans happy. You have a good WR, why not get him involved?

I made my initial statement seconds before the PI and TD so it's moot now but I still feel a screen or slant to Q the next drive would be good.

Watch what Mason does to Talib- it's funny. He'll poke at him, push him, say comments, get Talib fired up, then throw his arms in the air and walk away. Then he grinds him for a catch. Mason is like a old Ford truck. Dependable as the day is long.

Our D has been pretty awesome so far today... *knocks on wood*

We have a nice lead now (though I'll admit that PI call was favorable) and start with the ball in the 2nd Q. Still, I won't feel confident until like 5 mins are left and we have a substantial lead... TB is a great 4th Q football team. Where is Boldin, btw?

Oh, and an obligatory HEAP!!! for that catch & run for the first TD.

They thought there was no P.I. on that pass to Houshmandzadeh that set up the Mason TD. I thought it was interference but I can see why they'd argue against it, given that it looked clean from one angle.

I think they're 1.5 games behind, so this would put them at 2.5...? I really don't know.

Even with a touchdown on the first drive of the second half, I think it's too early to say they'd be "put away". Tampa Bay is still a good team, and Freeman's good in the fourth. They're going to fight until the final second ticks away.
