Week 9 - Baltimore Ravens Vs. Miami Dolphins

Way to gift the game to the Jets, Lions..
Instead of running the ball on 4th down to run down the clock to around the one minute mark, they choose the play action pass and it leads to an incompletion. The Jets are out of timeouts starting from their own 20 with 1:50+

And the Lions just got hit with a personal foul penalty. Jets could go for the touchdown. The clock is ticking. :34 left.

Golly...Rex going for a field goal...looks like overtime unless Detroit can make Folk pooch the kick.

im not a flacco hater. but he DID threw a pass that should of been a pick 6. out side of that he played very well.
The pass into double coverage was questionable as well, but sometimes it's better to be lucky rather than good and in this game Flacco was both.

And of course the Jets will win the game now with Stafford out. That's exactly why you don't put Suh on the extra point, Mr. Schwartz.

129.6 passer rating.

Thanks. I wonder if that's his personal best.

Suh was an interesting choice. You'd think the punter (or even a qb) would have had a little bit of practice for just that purpose.

Oh Detroit. They are this close to being a good team.

A touchdown makes it a 20 point lead and even if they didnt get it Miami would have to go 99 and a half yds to score, Thats why

They did exactly what should have been done...

I see the rankings being:

1) Ravens
2) Steelers (if they win)
3) Giants (if they win)
4) Patriots
5) Saints (if they win)
6) Jets

Yes you got it right

Hey! The Jets winning is a good thing! They take 1st in their division, which puts us on top of the AFC because of the tie breaker!

Mhmmm.. I never thought of it that way. I'd still love to see Rex's face after a second consecutive loss.

The Ravens are now 12-0 at Home when Flacco doesn't throw an INT... I was glad to see David Reed get involved in Special Teams AND Offense... Defense stepped up big in the second half (The Reed INT was thanks to Ray Lewis, and Marshall short-arming it after seeing #52)... Big win, ladies and gentlemen, but now it's time for the Falcons.

Joe and Rice were great today.

If we can play the kind of defense we played in the 2nd half for the whole game, we should be really hard to beat.

I agree I'm very impressed with the D today, they proved they can still get the job done. That's a good sign

I so wish the Jets lost. They should've. The lions seemed to get a bit cocky when they grabbed a 10 point lead.

Since standings mean squat at this time, Jets winning is DEFINITELY not a good thing!!

Play action when they needed to eat clock was ridiculous!

I agree. I hate Monday Night NFC games. Keep it AFC and I'm looking forward to monday night. Bengals beating Big Ben like a red headed stepchild would be epic.

Its like they were more refreshed with the halftime break rather than the bye week. lol

Maybe it had something to do with Washington being benched. Although Gregg has been pretty bad this year. Teams are picking up on it, and running right through the middle. I really hope they put Cody or even McKinney at the NT position, because Turner will exploit that. They wont be so quick to abandon the run, so I really hope the Ravens pick it up on there run-d.

Good game today. The stadium was a bit cold from all the wind we were getting but it was fun. I got to meet JO and get his autograph, he was playing scratch offs and was losing, lol. I don't know about anyone else, but I must of seen at least 8 Dolphin fans get kicked out of the game around me today, I can't imagine paying that much to go to the game then just getting kicked out like that.

You should've been at the Bears game last year. The one where the giant snow storm plopped all that snow down. It was freezing and the wind was whipping. I've never been to a game so cold.

Dolphins fans (and Crowder) can be classless. Never really liked their organization.

Crowder is claiming McClain of spitting in his face and he was cutting him with low blows. They said McClain could get fined or suspended if they review the tapes and see him doing it. .
Crowder also said if McClain goes to Miami he has go to see him....that sounds like threat to me.

For the second week in a row, Cam called a good game; nice screens, good traps, some nice check downs to rice, etc. It would be nice to involve Hoosh more, possibly as a Wes Welker kind of guy and Dixon in a 2 TE formation. Yanda was a little disappointing and it would be nice to see Cody worked in a little more.

Despite the 20/27 and 266 yards with no INTs, Joe Flacco is still a little disappointing in a couple of areas: (1) he consistently has periods of poor decision making, he tends to overthrow on the 8, 9 and 10 routes, at times he tends to under throw (usually causing a pick or a scary moment)and in some situations, he holds the ball too long. I hope he can get those problems fixed before the jump up and bite the team.

Good Luck next week against Atlanta.
