It gets to the point where it's just not even funny anymore. Personally I wish the worst on the Jets but this is just getting ridiculous.

This is absolutely hilarious; yes I'm sure it's 100x more hilarious for me than others. I bet it's all because he went to Michigan.

(Inside joke; he blamed EVERYTHING bad that happened in Cleveland with the fact he went to Michigan and we had it out for him.)

Chris Mortensen reported on ESPN that Edwards' DUI falls under the substance abuse policy, not personal conduct since a third party wasn't involved (e.g., he got into an accident, etc.)... therefore, he'll only be subject to a fine from the league if it's his first offense.

Braylon Edwards is an idiot. First of all, he should be getting up to work out or still sleeping at 5am. Second, he HAS the $$ for a limo or a cab and finally, the NY Jets have a number he could have called for a ride if a friend wasn't around to drive him. It goes without saying how dumb a move drinking and driving is. It's so easily avoided these days.

Like you said especially if you have the $$. I think it all comes down to pride. They want to drive their ride and be seen coming in and out of it. Even if it is 5 am.

Well I was going to say they could have drove... but if they were drunk as well than I guess they could have called Rex or some other Jets players if they weren't out of it either. If that didn't work.... I wonder what would have happened if he would have called The Commish... you think Roger would have gave him a ride? lol

Absolutely; he's an idiot and always has been. He produced one big year coincidentally with Derek Anderson against a cupcake schedule. If he'd stop pissing and moaning for a few weeks and learn how to catch (which is pretty important for a WR) he wouldn't be half bad. But he never will because he has to showboat and be a typical diva WR.

Dont drink and drive kids. An absolute sweetheart of a woman I know just DUI hit and killed a drunk jaywalker on Sunday. Her life is over and she is the type of person who will be miserable over it until the day she dies.

He was wrong, she was wrong, the whole situation need never have happened. Oh, and any beach/tourist area bartenders out there.....cut people off <deleted>, she is 4'11" and had a BAC of .26, inexcusable how she was being served drinks.

I really don't like how the Jets are handling this situation. They're still letting him play on Sunday...just not starting. What a joke. For having such a tough image, Rex Ryan sure does appease his players a lot (Ex. Revis and Edwards...I'm sure there are more).

Unfortunately I don't blame them for starting him; if they try to deactivate him then the diva will complain to the player's union and they'll file a grievance on this. Should they be able to.. absolutely no way but they will and then it gets to be a whole huge mess. It's crappy but I really can't fault the Jets on this one.

Braylon should man up and take a deactivation and not complain about it but he won't.. so the Jets have no choice.
