Fantasy Frustration Thread!

Damn Weather. Have a lot invested in New England vs. Chicago game. I hate when I hear "Worst NFL Weather ever for an NFL game" coming from the Accuweather guy.

All I needed to do was this week was not get outscored by 25 to bring home the money for the regular season. I had Aaron Rodgers (and Mason Crosby) going against the Lions, so I thought I was smooth sailing... little did I know they would combine for 4 points. That is the epitome of frustration, especially knowing there's a decent chance Rodgers could be out next week for the first round of my league's playoffs.

Who's with me on this one?

That sucks man. But at least the play-offs didn't start this week and you were bounced out because Rodgers went down.

Do you have a decent backup QB?

*raises hand* Lost a playoff game partly because Rodgers was knocked out. What a bad time to leave. Great matchup and only 40 yards. Very costly for teams that drafted him in the first round.

yeah.. I landed him in the 2nd round in a 10 team league, but Gore was my 1st round pick and I just dropped S. Greene (my 3rd rounder) for Cassel because after Rodgers' bye I dropped my backup QB thinking there's no way you can sit Rodgers...

so, no, I didn't have a backup, but if Cassel practices all week, he goes up against StL, so he should be a decent play and i'll be going into the playoffs without my first three picks. Thank God for Arian Foster... hopefully he'll take it easy on us tomorrow, though lol

Sounds like it's been a tough season for you.

I own Foster in one of the BR.com leagues and just feel terrible now knowing I could have benched him after seeing what Ryan Torain and Felix Jones did on my bench.

Missing the playoffs due to Rodgers' concussion. Needed that win and would have gotten it if he's not hurt. Oh well, always next season!

Playing for pride in ATD's PPR league, I get [b]0[/b] points from Lee Evans, [b]7.8[/b] from Miles Austin(2.6 coming on a run & 1 on a tackle) and [b]4.3[/b] from Tashard Choice. Meanwhile, on my bench, Brandon Gibson got 12 points, Jonathan Stewart 16.3, Mike Goodson 14.6 and Felix Jones picked up 18.3.

Meanwhile, the guy I'm facing is up by 25.5 points thanks to Arizona's D, Jason Witten and DeSean Jackson. And he still has Adrian Peterson and Jared Allen coming up tomorrow night.

5-9 here I come.

In round one of the play-offs in my league, Tashard Choice got me [b]3.3[/b] points and James Jones got me [b]3[/b] while Felix, Goodson and Ryan Torain each put up at least 13 points on my bench. On top of that, Zach Miller(also on my bench) puts up 68 yards, which is 40 more points than he'd put up his last 5 games combined as he dealt with plantar fasciitis.

I'm down by 26.64 with Joe, Foster and Dickson starting tomorrow night while Reediddy has Terrell Thomas and Jared Allen starting.

The 3 guys I depended on every week let me down in the first round of playoffs (we don't play week 17 because some teams sit their starters). I had Peyton Hillis vs the Bills (he broke 100 yards but come on, I thought he was really going to go off!). I had Jamaal Charles vs SD (ugh..Matt Cassel is it necessity to that team). And finally Aaron Rodgers went out costing my boy Greg Jennings to do nothing....except drop an easy bomb and tip it into a defenders hands.


So yeah, Unless Sidney Rice goes super saiyan tonight, I am pretty much down.

I know that feeling... First round of the playoffs in one of my leagues... Been pretty dominant all year... My starters who disappointed? Orton at QB, J. Charles did nothing for me at RB, and I start both Megatron AND D. Bowe, who ccombined for an awesome 7 points. To top it off, I needed a TE this week as I've been starting Heap while Z. Miller's been injures. Ben Watson was sitting prettily on the wire after being super productive for a couple of weeks, what does he do??? nothing at all... I'm now down like 70 points with A. Johnson and R. Rice to go, god I'm hoping for a shoot-out with Rice and Dre going crazy ^^
