Fantasy Frustration Thread!

195 posts in this topic

It's the return of the fantasy frustration thread! Post your frustrating losses, start ems, sit ems, just anything frustration.

Let the venting begin!

I thought I was lucky getting MJD and M Turner in the same draft. But week two where the two are suppose to shine. Their backups out perform them! Snelling went off against Arizona and Jennings had a better outing than Gore. ArggghhhHH! I drafted this two for these type of matchups.

Another frustration to add, I'm sure a lot agree. Jonathan Stewart. What the hell is going on in Carolina????

For real, what is going on with Carolina?? Its looking like they're missing Delhomme more than anything, if only because Defenses actually had to play honest a little bit against them, granted not much.

Another frustration is the Charles ordeal. Haley must've quit watching his team after Johnson was benched last year, or he'd see that Charles has tons of potential.

I second the frustration. 13 attempts for 55 yards in two games? That's unacceptable.

Felix Jones is another. The Cowboys' o-line has been average at best but I expected at least one 20+ yard run and a score by now but neither has happened.

Felix might be losing a foothole. Reports are the Cowboys think he is very poor in pass protection. This will hinder him because of the offensive line woes the Cowboys are having.

Looks like Barber could sneak back in there as "the man."

having snelling on the bench this past week damn you Turner for getting hurt lol
Well if you are a Turner owner like me, and hear that Turner could've come back and played but the team held him out because it was a blowout makes me sick.

I saw Atlanta have a 1st and goal at the 1 yard line. And had to watch Snelling get that gimme.

Terrible. It's early but I'm starting to regret drafting him.

EDIT: I don't own Gore in either of my leagues but I know there are some frustrated fantasy owners right now after Dixon just waltzed into the end-zone.

Gore has put together a nice night, could've been monstrous if he got that TD. But its hard to be disappointed.

Yep. He's earned every yard he's picked up.

I feel frustrated for my younger brother in his money league.

He was down 50 points and had Gore and Vernon Davis left. They caught him back up with the TD to Gore and the Davis 2PC. He was up by 3 points. The Saints kick a FG and tied the fantasy game.

Team with better reserves wins. His reserves had one less point than the other guy, he losses. If only he didn't have Roethlisberger and Stafford sitting on his bench.

To me as for many others J-Stew and Charles are the worst disapointments... Especially because it's not like they can't produce, they just have headcoaches who, as the only individuals in the world, don't realise that they are better than other available options... I mean, why oh why won't Haley give the ball to Charles?? Afraid the Chiefs might score an offensive touchdown for a change??? I just don't get it, and don't get me started on Fox... When you draft J-stew, you realise that sometimes Williams will have the better day.... But feeding goal-line carries to Mike Goodson (who?) when you've got a healthy J-Stew, it's just beyond comprehension....

Shonn Greene for me. Goddamn Jet.
i drafted him thinking i'd done really well to get him and gore as a good solid backfield.

he's been terrible! and with miami this week i don't really see that changing

The Panthers as a whole disappointed me over the weekend. I picked up the D and John Carney expecting both to have big games against the Bucs. That didn't happen. :gaah:

I'm frustrated by the fact that I got Kevin Kolb in 2 leagues. Even more frustrated by my backing him up with Jason Campbell/Alex Smith in the REAAAALLY late rounds, should've handcuffed him with Vick.

Also frustrated by a trade request. Should I trade Pierre Thomas for Ray Rice?

Pierre Thomas is actually projected to have more points and Rice is extremely disappointing thanks to the o-line and Cameron.

I'd still take Ray Rice over Pierre Thomas in a heart beat. Ray Rice will get his this season. He's a great candidate for buying low.

Alex Smith will be fine, he looked pretty decent against that nasty D the Saints have. The picks really weren't on him.

Kolb has only played 1 half so far this season. I wouldn't give up on him yet. Jason Campbell, yes. Oakland's O-line is bad and Gradkowski is good with getting out of broken pockets.

I'm frustrated that each week I forget to add in one last player (whether it be RB or WR) and end up losing by a few points. That changes this week though!

Just frustrated about my MJD and M Turner combo.

4 Games played between the two and ZERO touchdowns. While the teams they play for have a combined 9 touchdowns! Arghhhhhh.

I went against my gut and started Hakeem Nicks over Mike Williams. I lost by 1. Williams had exactly 2 more points than Nicks.

Oh and the Chiefs not starting Jamaal Charles is frustrating the hell out of me

having started tony gonzalez these past 2 weeks with little to no production he's sat on my bench as he gets 110 yards and a TD
I feel your pain. I've been sticking with Gaffney. He looked to be phasing out last game. I benched him and he gets 140 yards on 12 catches.

Matthew Berry really hit it off on Orton. He's been selling him all season and when everybody was dogging him against the Colts, he put up 400+ yards.

I started Miles Austin and Devery Henderson in two leagues today. These were final totals:

Austin: 2 catches, 20 yards

Henderson: 2 catches, 23 yards

:34853_shakehead:

In the PPR league, I left Lee Evans on the bench who got 5 catches for 54 yards and in the standard league, I've got Jerricho Cotchery and Devin Aromashadu on the bench. If either of them outproduces Henderson, I'll lose my mind.

I stuck with Spiller as my number 2 back through the first 2 games, finally bench him and he blows up for a few point.

Also had Roy Williams warming my bench.

Austin is frustrating. But Henderson? Shame on you. I can't ever get myself to trust a Saint unless its Brees. (and now Thomas since all other backs have been eliminated). But I realize your other options aren't much better.

It all goes back to Aromashodu. I thought he'd put up WR2 stats this year so I passed on better WR options.

Same here. I was hoping he'd even transform into a pure WR1. Luckily Santana Moss has stepped up and really started to put up 1WR stats this year and DeSean is hitting it off w/ Vick.
