This is a very unsatisfying three point lead.

Against a perennial powerhouse team, on the road, after their bye?

I can agree that the Ravens left some plays on the field and didn't play to their potential. They can hammer it out in the second half, though, it's been a pretty solid game for us, overall.

Good First Half by the Ravens. Made some mistakes(looking at you Oher) but they found a way to keep things in their favor. Let's come out swinging on defense in the second half.

Love the fans booing for not calling a timeout and kneeling... like Phil Simms said... Why? If they throw a hail mary your going to risk a interception, a sack that could lead to Baltimore getting the ball with a chance to kick another FG.

Their secondary is getting too good coverage and Flacco hasn't found anyone. That's the only thing wrong with our game so far.

BTW, anyone notice the Rams dominating San Diego? Thank god we're not that team.

unsatisfying, but we're winning. and Flacco is looking good so far despite the tight coverage.

let's force a 3 and out when the 2nd half starts and go down the field for a TD. I want a 2 possession lead.

The play calling has been bad. The running game is clearly not working.

Doesn't matter. They have to stick with it. I'd rather them attempt to run, keep the D honest, than abandon it. Cameron has been calling the game pretty well until that last drive <_< checkdowns to Rice..

Would you rather be down by 3?

I agree. Considering how good Bill is after a BYE, I'm pretty satisfied with a 3 point lead at Gillette Stadium. They may not have Moss, but it's still the Patriots.

we should be torching this defense. play calling has been so questionable

That was funny, thank you for the humor.

That's the point; because they're all those things, a bigger lead would be much more placating. We also deserve that big lead considering that we dominated them in every facet of the game bar none.

So far, so okay; tey're defending against Ray fairly well, but Joe's throwing the ball well. We had one slip at WR, but that reverse really was the killer. Ngata is smoking and so is Suggs

And can I just say, Cowher's homerism is reallllly grating. According to him, we only won in Pitt. because Ben wasn't playing. I mean, I get that fans would say that, but a guy who used to coach?! Would he tell his team after the game, 'Don't worry guys, the only reason we lost at home is because Ben isn't playing, it wasn't that they bested us,'?

I agree, we've outplayed them. But the Patriots are a good team. If people went into this game expecting a cakewalk, they were mistaken.

I don't think 'cakewalk' is what some are saying, just that with the way we are playing and could've played we could have a few more points on the board.

True. But the Patriots could say the same thing. That's just how it is in the NFL, especially when two good teams go at it.

Overall, our D has kept the highest-scoring team to 7 points in one half. They've also kept the first-down machine of the Pats to 7 firsts. Not bad, but things could quickly get out of hand against this team. We need to establish the run.
