Splash!!! I'm in da pool.

What do you feel will be detrimental to shutting down Denver's offense this weekend?

IMO max pass protection comes first & foremost, followed closely with pressure from our "D" line on Orton. The pressure will force him to make mistakes if we can bottle up their receivers.

Welcome your opinions!

Why isn't the game being shown in NOVA/DC?
[/quote]

It's worse than that. It's not being shown in half of MD either.

It's because both the Redskins and Ravens are playing at home at the same time.

:34853_brickwall: Oh, man... That stinks, but it really stinks that alot of MD residents can't see it. They shouldn't be in Washington's market.

Yea it does. But hey that's why I bought Directv Sunday Ticket. I mean I can't rely on living in Maryland and getting to watch Maryland's team. It's really pathetic.

But don't fret about 90% of the country (including that other half of Maryland) will get to watch the Cowboys at 1 pm instead.

From what i hear, the Broncos are struggling with some injuries and new players up front on their Oline, I beleive they have 3 players working their way back from injury and also a rookie Center.

To me this will be the key to the Ravens slowing down that Broncos offense. The Broncos have given up about 3.5 sacks a game and that's good for the second worse mark in the AFC. The Bank will be rocking and it will be difficult for the Broncos Oline especially a rookie to make calls at the line to identify where the Ravens blitzer are coming from.

The Ravens must attack that Broncos oline and begin to take their will and confidence away early. If Orton doesn't have time to drop back and throw the ball down field, all the Ravens will have to be concerned with is making the tackles on the players in front of them and getting off the field on 3rd down.

The Ravens have to build a double digit lead and force Orton to push the ball down field in attempt to keep the Broncos in the game. That's when the mistakes and turnovers will start to come for the Ravens.

What a relief. -_- I just can't wait to find out whether or not Finnegan can get fined for a fourth week in a row.

Finnegan might be the most annoying player in the game. And that's considering we have Hines Ward on the schedule twice a year. Even his name sounds annoying.

Looks like we will be having some good weather for Sunday's game. I'll be there in section 105, I am not sure where I will be tailgating though. Anyhow, I can't wait for this game!

Whats going to be our first offensive play against the Broncos? I am going with a pass to Boldin. Go Ravens!

I've heard many times that the Ravens are wearing their black uniforms on Sunday, yet in the OP it says Purple.
Not that it's important which is worn, I was just wondering if it could be cleared up?

I hate to break it to you guys, but you guys are going to be very upset tomorrow when you lose. I think #1 pass defense that statistically you hold is sooooo overrated! You have have face not one good qb! Not one solid passing attack! Tomorrow you guys will get a dose of all the weapons at wr the broncos have! You guys don't have enough players to defend them all. Be ready to lose tomorrow and be ready to face a real passing attack!

@Broncos1

That's hilarious because I think your Kyle-Orton-led offense is OVERRATED. Do you remember what happened last year? The Broncos were 6-0, and everyone thought they were for real. They came to Baltimore, and the Ravens brought Denver down from that "mile high" they were on. Baltimore absolutely dominated, winning 30-7. Oh, and the Broncos had Brandon Marshall last year. I'm not going to wish the Broncos any luck, but they're definitely going to need it... and a whole lot more.

Except for playing us, Palmer and Sanchez have been lighting it up. The other QB's we played are vets, with Seneca Wallace likely the future starter over Delhomme. Every team we faced has had dangerous weapons at receiver and we smothered 'em all.

Like i said since I knew someone would use that lame line. Last year was a first year coach, a first year qb, a first year system. This year not the same! I guess you haven't been watching much football lately because the broncos attack has been better without marshall. Who's the leading wr in the nfl????? go ahead and research and tell me the answer ;) We have 3 wr's on pace for 1,000 yards. do you guys? KYLE ORTON is on pace to brake the nfl record in passing yards after 4 games. I doubt he does it but the fact that you had to put kyle orton just shows how little you been paying attention. How's that Flacco lead offense of yours turning out????? I see Orton as the #1 ranked passer on nfl.com/stats and I see flacco at a measly average # 15. You guys played a sanchez, wallace, palmer, and a back up qb vs pitt and somehow you're fooled into thinking they are equal to what the broncos offense is doing lol Ravens are the only team going to lead luck tomorrow!

I agree about not playing a top ranked passing attack, but the Ravens secondary came into the year being HIGHLY underrated. I think they have what it takes to stop the Broncos. Even if you have a top-notch WR corps, Orton can't get the ball to him if his face is in the turf.
