Yeah that second one how can you even defend it? ANd like I said befo, with Reed in there the first TD pass definitely wouldn't have been thrown, and that one probably would not have been.

Webb seemed to be covering Royal most of the time.

A decent game all around. Defense played well until it didn't matter, and it was obvious the emphasis was on the running game today. Good to see Rice break out today, now defenses will be even more afraid of us. That long string of incompletions by Flacco really bothered me, but Denver was getting good pressure and there were the balls Mason and Boldin had and dropped, and at least he didn't turn the ball over. The Pats are near the bottom of the NFL in both Pass and Run Defense (worse than the Broncos even), so we should look better next week. I still see the same thing with Flacco and the offense that's plaguing him. He can definitely move the ball through the air, but finishing drives is something he still has to get better at. Of course, with our three headed monster, he doesn't get those easy red zone tds other quarterbacks get. Still, I want to see some pass TDs next week against the Patriots.

This could be another rough year for Palmer. Unfortunately for him, the defense and run game haven't been able to compensate. Their 2-3 record takes them further from Baltimore's lead.
