I must say that is pretty laughable

Btw, I just mentioned this in another thread, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was the game where Mattison released all sorts of crazy blitz packages. Just for the sake of surprising and unloading on a division rival in an early season showdown without their top QB.

Steelers inactives: CB Lewis, RB Dwyer, CB Butler, OT Hills, DT Hoke, OT Essex, WR Sanders, LB Gibson.

Legursky will start for Essex.

We are due for a win in Pittsburgh, but I've got a bad feeling with all that pressure that will be in Flaccos face....

No one's due anything, we have to go out and earn this win.

Ravens Inactives: WR Stallworth, CB Miller, CB Wilson, LB Jones, LB Gooden, DT Jones, OT Gaither, DT Redding.

Rice, Kruger, Cody are ACTIVE

I knew Pryce being gone meant it was time for Kruger to play. Seeing Cody active is pretty awesome too, our defense just got a little better with the additions of Kruger and Cody to the defensive line.

A bit surprising to see CB Josh Wilson inactive. Cary Williams gets a spot over Wilson today; Williams can do more on special teams
Both guys are better than Carr but coaches will always have favorites.

Just glad Cody is actually gonna get a shot today.

Due doesn't mean you get a win automatically......

It would be about time if we did though.

The key to this game is going to be our o-line . Oher against Harrison should be a good match up . On the other side is woodley , gonna be really tough to stop them both but flacco has got to get rid of the ball quickly but safely and must keep tracl of Polamalu

Bring in Dickson to help Yanda block Woodley.

If Flacco plays fearless against the blitz like he did last week then we'll be fine. Flacco is the only thing that worries me in this game.

We've still been popping 4 yards consistently with Rice. Then he ends up getting a big run. Time for RR to get a TD. Remember how he gashed the Steelers last 2 meetings?

Glad to see Cody & Kruger playing. Been a long time coming. Hope they go all out and impress. Disappointed that Wilson isn't playing. Was hoping to see him possibly return a kick or two, at least just to throw something different at Pitt that they don't have film on.

anyone know why josh wilson is inactive
We might not have enough room for the gameday roster. CB shouldn't be much of a problem against Batch. DL is where it's at today.

I won't be around a whole lot in this game thread guys. Sorry I may be back next week. Everyone just stay calm and don't get too heated. I think the Ravens will take this one.

So Excited that the Ravens will almost be in full strength with Rice playing, and the fact our defense just got better with Cody & Kruger playing.

My Prediction:

Ravens 23
Steelers 20

All I've heard out of NFL countdown so far is how good the Steelers are and how bad we are.

Time to prove more naysayers wrong!

So much doubt going into this game. We'll see what the Ravens can do to prove wrong. Everybody says we'll lose pretty much.

IT'll be interesting to see which aspect of our game isn't firing. If our team is firing on all cylinders (which is pretty high level for all) we can't be stopped.
