We have been to 3 Rivers, husband wearing a purple Woodson jersey and the people were pretty cool--not the internet tough guys and bandwaggoners that frequent message boards. Its like being with some of the nicer fans that post here year round.

ive been to 2 games in Pittsburgh wearing my jerseys and never had any issues-just some fun trash talk, most steelers fans are respectable...on the other hand,i was at a home game and a little kid maybe 7/8 years was wearing a hines ward jersey and our fans were telling this kid to kill himself and cursing him out-it made me sick to see how low some of our fans act.

I have a hard time believing that happened...

My grandfather is a hardcore Browns fan, we took him to a Ravens/Browns game in Baltimore, he was decked out in orange and brown. No one gave him a hard time. Ravens' fans are, generally, very nice.

It's the exact opposite if you walk into Cleveland in purple and black lol

I actually was in Cleveland for a Ravens game. 2005, last game of the season. My dad (he's a Bengals fan) and I were wearing Ravens purple and didn't receive too much heckling. Maybe it's because both teams were terrible that year, it was 25 degrees, it was the day after New Years', and/or the fact that the Browns won :( but the Cleveland fans were pretty mild to us..

More often than not, you have to be a jerk to get treated like one. A Ravens fan in the section over would stand up and taunt the Browns fans every chance he got. Eventually, the entire half of the stadium was chanting, "Harry Potter, Harry Potter!", making fun of his circular glasses hahah. He was escorted out after throwing beer on someone. Even I thought that was funny.

So, moral of the story, don't bring your Harry Potter glasses to the game, ATD :P

Guess I'll leave them home, drats!

Exact opposite of my experience in Cleveland for last year's MNF game. Just on the walk from the parking garage to the stadium, I was called an a-hole countless times, told Reed sucks (since I had his jersey on), along with how badly the Ravens were going to lose and that was only the beginning of the night. Then after the Browns lost... not one Browns fan even looked my way.

I'm actually very laid back at games. I don't overly cheer and celebrate, or taunt the opposing teams fans. Even when I get heckled, I just ignore it and laugh it off. So I doubt I'll have any major issues in Pittsburgh lol I'm sure I'll get "Murderer" yelled at me a few times, since I'll have my Lewis jersey on

It's time to hit the hard stuff! Beer won't get me through this weekend! Went to the range today and nailed about a dozen Heinz bottles.

What, you're going to drink ketchup bottles?! :229031_rofl:

Can't wait for this game, It's like a holiday for the fans of both teams! I don't care if someone made a thread on this already (I have been asking this in the game threads since the first pre season game), but What is our first play going to be? I am going with a pass to Mason. Go Ravens!!
Yeah, this is probably going to be the game of the season! BTW I predict a pass to Boldin in the first play followed by a decent rush, 20 yds maybe. :argdancingravensblueonwkk8:

Hopefully, you'll have a repeat of your experience in Cleveland: all the Steelers fans shut up after their
team loses :229031_rofl:

flacco will have to release the ball fast and wisely. Dfence will be pressuring him!!!
Yeah, Flacco had better bring his A-game! Lots of well-thrown passes and no interceptions will ensure a win for Baltimore. Let's go offense! :18_1_301:

Looks like it's going to be a rainy game. Click here to see the weather report for Heinz field. So which QB will play better in the Rain? Flacco or Batch?

I don't know how I feel about that. If Roethlisberger was playing I'd be happy about it. But since we have the edge in QB play, I'd prefer it to be nice weather.

Don't quote the pictures.

Don't go overboard with the smack.

That picture is pretty mild. Not very inflammatory.

Grim reaper with the Steelers logo on his scythe and I put a cartoon of Ray Lewis standing over Big Ben with a football shoved in his mouth?

Interesting.

Anyways, the weather is going to be Cold and Wet. This game is going to be intense. 2 of the best defenses.

Hopefully this is Cody's NFL debut, which it should be, or I will really start to question the coaching staff.
