Strength Of Schedule

The Ravens have the fifth toughest schedule.

I'm glad we have a tough schedule. Show these people that we can beat any team out there.

The only problem I have is the Pats having the weakest. After going undefeated in the regular season you would think their schedule would be the hardest one, but no.

The entire AFCN is playing a tough schedule.

Took the words out of my mouth. Its all about the divisions our division is up against. We play two division that sent 3 teams to the playoffs. I almost feel sorry for the Squeelers, they play two difficult division and they play the division winner schedule which means they get the Pats and Chargers.

It's not their fault they play in a ridiculously weak division.

But I agree, it sucks.

i think our schedule is a good set of solid Opponents i mean because all of those teams are good teams and put up a valid fight until the final whistle....all have been making progress (well except the Bengals maybe seeing how they need to get their off the field things straightened out first lol)...all have been making progress towards that common goal, so naturally any schedule will be hard to bide by....you just can go by what people say...because what some people refer to as the "bad teams" are out there on the field for the same common goal of reason....to win. so i really dont see how anyone can classify ANY schedule as "a hard" or "Easy" schedule......everyone thought we were going to be a push over against the Patriots too and did tha happen? haha no...they won by the skin of their teeth and not the blowout everyone was predicting......it all comes down to preparation and execution.

it'll provide our players with a real test of what we're made of and i would expect that our players and our team overall, will be able to rise to the challenge and exceed the critics expectations. anything can and will happen, i just can emphasize that enough. things can turn around (**Snap**) just like that. and your seeing a whole new team on the screen/in front of your eyes.

which can really help our team out if you really think about it because by playing the harder teams, we learn to perform at a continual high standard and compete with the best out there, challenging ourselves every play of every down, every week, every game every year......exciting to think about i dare say

HA! i wouldnt be suprised if they go 19-O next season. they just need to fix there D

May be 16-0 again but I doubt they are gonna make it out of the playoffs. The AFC has to many good passing teams and as of right now the Pats have NO secondary.

Yea, most of their secondary was lost to FA. I don't see how they let their secondary go from good to bad. They should have at least tried to keep some of their star secondary players.

Can they go 19-0? I don't think so. Even if we totally ignore the playoffs, that's 16 games where anything can happen. They could be playing the 49ers and on that day, the 49ers realize their potential and beat the Patriots. It could happen at any moment. I don't think I'll ever live to see a 19-0 team.

Colts, Chargers, Steelers are the Pats top threats once again. then theirs the Broncos and Shannahan if im not mistaking has the best track record against Belichick coached teams.

THIS IS SO UNFAIR!!! I take a look at this every single year, and every yr the ravens r like in the top 5 in the SOS. our 13-3 season were like #2 or #3 as well, and we went 13-3 despite that, that means we definately hasd one of the best teams. But what makes me even more angry is that the freaking patriots gets one of the easiest schedules every single year! Even after championships and and a perfect season. To make it worse they have to steal signals, playbooks and video tape practices of the dolphins and jets just to beat them. We have to play the hardest division in the afc and to add to that in 2008 we have to play the hardest division in the nfc, especially after coming off a horrible season, how is the fair in any way?? If the ravens had the pats schedule they would have a 13-3 record every yr.

i'm not so sure about the steelers being in this group. i firmly believe that with a strong head forward and first and foremost health, the ravens could take a big step in the standings this coming year. and i believe that the steelers would be the losers in this deal because, quite frankly, i don't see the bungals getting any better! the chargers are a team that i can see being in themix for a while now. they are solid all around and philip rivers definitely solidified his role as a leader on that team after getting surgery ( keeping it on the low! ) and playing in the playoffs.

but no reason to be intimidated by ANY team! any given sunday the great giants could fall!

I think the Steelers are very overrated. The Cardinals, Jets, and Dolphins games say that.
