So...Vick wins his first start since 2006 against the Lions, of all teams, and he's suddenly the answer at QB? After he couldn't beat out Kevin Kolb for the #2 QB job last year and for the starting job this year? I didn't know we had written off the 2010 season already after only two games.

And for the record, Flacco's contract isn't up until after the 2012 season; he signed a five-year deal. This is Year 3 of that rookie deal.

PS: Flacco is our QB, period. A loss to the Bengals on the positive note is we need to work on our passing game. Give Flacco some time that he will eventually get in sync with Boldin and T.J.

I knew this was going to happen. Vick puts up a great game against the LIONS! Man if this is going on here, I'd hate to see the Philly boards.

So Joes' contract is up, if we let him go, do you know how many teams would jump all over him? Why? Because it is way to early to give up on the guy.

We'd be adding aging QBs, who might not work, and if they don't we are stuck trying to find another QUALITY starter.

I cant pleave someone actully said get rid of Joe and add Vic I thought we wanted to move forward as a team not backwards. Joe is the quarterback of now and the future people can give up on him now after the first loss of the season or we can get another QB and hope that he turns out as the next joe montana but as many QB's we have had come in and out of B-More i think we should be thankul we have Joe.

I'll take a quality JOE over a revolving door of aging QBs anyday. Some people might not.

Is he Peyton, Brady, Brees, hell no. Is he better than Garrard, Alex Smith, Jason Campbell, Trent Edwards, Josh Freeman, Matt Moore, Chad Henne, Vince Young. I'd have to say yes.

Joe still has some progression room left as well.

Because it would be unreasonable not to? Because pretty much no QB has had the type of success that some Ravens fans are expecting of Flacco already. You can maybe name two QBs who were instantly dominant leaders, for the rest it takes time to develop. Whine all you want, those are the facts.

Good grief this is football, I feel like I'm reading chicken little to one of my kids. The sky isn't falling guys, it was what it was a bad game. It isn't like we didn't drop 3 early in the season last year and finished strong. I believe this year we'll go even further. Joe is our QB, I stand behind him and our team. I think we need to gain some perspective here.

A. Harbaugh loves character over anything else.

Agreed. I'm tired of riding the QB carousel in Baltimore. You have to give some time. Maybe not Kyle Boller time, but at fair shot at least. There have been so many changes to the offense and so many disruptions to the O-Line, I am not surprised in the least that they are not clicking yet. Also, while I hate to beat a dead horse, Cam's playcalling was atrocious.

I have always been a fan of Mike Vick on the field but lets face it. He is not the prototypical QB for the AFC North. He is making great throws and going thru his progressions....but hes 30 now and we need our QB to start and end his career here

One thing I will say about Vick...and I don't really entertain the thought of him coming here..but

Vick seems to always be able to at least put his team in scoring possibilities a certain amount of times just off his big play capabilities. You know with a mike vick team chances are ur gonna see the other teams side of the field at least 3-4 times a game..at least.

Sometimes watching flacco..I'm praying just to get to mid field

However I will say turnover possibilities increase with a qb like vick..

maybe it has something to do with the fact that he has barely started two seasons? Doesnt seem unreasonable to me.
