Idk about erybody else but I'm a lil disappointed that he isn't gettin any clock. I'd rather have carr playing inside than him playing outside.. Let Fabian and Wilson start and put Carr as the nickel. He plays the nickel very well. Wilson is a playmaker he need to be on the field. As Webb is comin back work him in as well, you can switch him out with Washington or Wilson but geez give Wilson a chance to make some plays. I'm just sayin

I bet Wilson is having a bit of trouble with the defense. Ravens D is prob more complicated than the Seahawks. Plus Webb is back and Nakamura has done well at CB. That leaves Carr, Washington, Webb, and Nakamura all in front of him. I think Webb and Carr should start though.

like i said they can at least rotate him and webb. he is a much better cover corner than carr and he is more physical.

I want to see him in action as well.

hopefully this sunday he gets some clock. i mean we are playing the browns so it should be much of a risk to put him in to at least get his feet wet with our defensive scheme in a game situation. I have a feeling he will be great for our d. especially on the blitzes when eryone is manned up.

Would you care to explain why you don't like someone who has played very well as the starter?

i feel you on the if it ain't broke don't fix it but how do you know it couldn't be better. the team should play to it's full potential.
[/quote]

Honestly don't know..don't care

What I do know is we have a defense that hasn't given up a TD yet in 2 games against 2 playoff teams...

Why mess with anything on defense....their good.

I don't know why they interviewed Ochocinco and TO because they did nothing at all. The kicker deserves all the credit and Carson for driving the ball down the field...

His hip movement during WR cuts makes him lose his footing and I do not like his poor tackling. Hes had the same problem since he was drafted by Oakland.

he's a beast point blank. he makes plays so i guess you can say so. he isn't afraid of contact, good coverage skills, great tackling, and with the ball in his hands he looks to score.

And he falls on his butt a lot. I mean seriously, can someone get this guy some spikes for his cleats? Good thing Carson Palmer over threw Chad in the end-zone or the score would of been worse.

He was pretty much all on his own vs T.O and ocho and didnt do bad. He locked down Braylon Edwards. Hes played very well, especially since Carr has gotten alot of help and Fabian hasnt.

Fabian has been playing very well so far especially coming off that ACL injury.

There was alos a stat last year that showed that he is actually one of the better tackling CBs in the league.

I have had moments where Fabian makes me scream at the T.V., but let's tell it like it is. As of right now, he is playing at a very high level. I thought he made a good play on T.O. in the end zone, and even though he slipped on the missed TD to Ochocinco, he kept him tight to the sideline long enough to where Palmer had to fire the ball early because of our pressure. I've always thought Fabian was a good cover corner with good make-up speed if he gets beat. I think ideally he would be a number 2, but give him some credit right now. I think that if anyone needs to go its Foxworth.

I think the Nakamura experiment needs to stop NOW. This is NOT the preseason, you can't just sit excellent corners on the sideline. I watched at least 10 plays on defense where Haruki kept acting like he was gonna blitz, sometimes would, sometimes would drop in coverage. The times he did blitz, it was like he didn't even try, as if his job was to hog up blockers for ray or sizzle. I was so mad to see him keep doing that every snap. I think zibby is a better blitzer than him. I think wilson/webb should have been outside with carr playing nickel. TO manhandled Carr quite a few times.

Not even close man, Foxworth outplayed Washington all year last year when they were on the same field together.

I haven't seen anything from the CBs to suggest a change needs to be made. Both Fabian and Carr have been solid and Webb looked okay in his debut.

I didn't think either of them played well when they played together, but Fabian had a good year in 08 and he's looked good now. I was never a proponent of Foxworth, and to think that we gave him 28 million over 4 years is ridiculous. If you had to give me a choice of Foxworth or Washington, I'll take Fabian every time. If you think Foxworth is a better pure cover corner than Fabian, you are mistaken.

You're entitled to your opinion but Foxworth clearly played good football after the bye and if someone were to say he's a better cover man than Fabian, I don't see how you could say they are "mistaken".

No chance, Washington played well in Rex's pressure based schemes lined up against the #2 WR. He was far worse than Foxworth was last year, continually being beat and continually being flagged. Theres a website called profootballfocus and it had foxworth ranked in the top 15 corners in the league last season for overall play. Now thats not the be all end all, but its one website supporting my argument.

I will agree that after the bye Foxworth's play improved, as did the majority of our secondary. I don't think either will be a long-term answer for us. In my opinion, Webb and somebody else will be our starters. But I do think Washington has played extremely well, especially coming off of major knee surgery.

Now I can agree with all of that. Foxworth was dramatically improved after the bye and started showing signs of being a quality corner. Personally I think Webb is exactly the kind of corner the Ravens front office wants, tough hard nosed, likes to tackle, but can cover as well. And Washington has played well these last 2 weeks coming off ACL surgery.

I believe Wilson will get more into the mix this upcoming week. He will have a better understanding of the playbook and he will be manned up against Robiskie, pretty easy competition. Carr has been playing very well though, and to have him in the nickel will be a luxury
