Week 3: Browns

125 posts in this topic

I almost wish we were playing a stout tougher team next. Here is what I see happening...
In all probability we walk all over the Browns putting up a 30 plus spot on them and everyone is feeling high drinking the purple Kool Aid once again thinking the kinks have been tweeked in our offense only to get punched in the mouth with a reality check the following week vs the Stoolers. Anyone kinda remember that happening last season and that little thing about us losing to teams with a winning record?
Uh huh I'm just saying...

While we are still digesting that painful lost, we can at least be hopefully next week as we play the Brownies. Now the Browns are a complete push-over, but as our first home game of the year, except the atmosphere to be chaos, even after that Bengals game.

I'll be there, who else is going?

EDIT: Can a mod take the while out of the title. IDK why its there.

Looks like your first word "while" you typed in the title as well.

We should win against the Browns. This is a divisional game, so it could be hard. But we just match up well against the Browns. It'll be nice to be at home.

Finally a home game!

I hope this is a party like the last time we had the Browns at home. We spanked those boys at home. We need a pump up game here.

No way Bulger starts, Flacco needs this game.

Exactly, nothing like a confidence booster and our team getting in a real rhhythm

Fixed! Who knows this board's performance is mirroring the teams ......:wifey: :eyes:
I forgot messing up the title is the equivalent of throwing a pick, but at least I, unlike Flacco, can get it changed.

I can't wait I need my home game fix
Yea, I dont understand why we had to wait this long. It's the first time in Ravens history I believe. Why couldnt they make the Bengals game a home game, then the Browns an away game? We might have won today if it was at home ... I think.

Browns are no push over for us as they almost always play us tough no matter how bad they are

Ravens also have a special way about them that they can make any team look like a super bowl contender against us

I was hoping this would be the season where we start beating playoff teams consistently (no the Jets don't count as ones in my eyes) not just beating up on the nobodies.

It is nice to beat up on the nobodies, but we must advance. We have some tough teams coming up on our schedule, and we are going to find out if this is a a progressed team or the same team real quick.

I was at that game! The Browns game is always a good one, the past two times it's been early in the year (warm) and non-competitive (a blowout).

Maybe this year Ray Lewis will pop a tight end in the middle of the field?

Or Derrick Mason will do the Michael Jackson in the endzone?

I will be at the game and probably witnessing a loss yet again. Our defense hasn't played too bad through the first two games and our offense in the first half is alright but once the 2nd half hits we are offensively abysmal.

Hey! I was at that game too! It was a good day, beautiful weather, Mason had the long TD, we just crushed them. It was like one big party in the stands and on the field.

Could really go for one of those after this game. We only seem to struggle with teams w/ good to great QBs. Delhomme or Seneca, I'll take either. We might even get some INTs against Delhomme, if our guys on D know how to catch.

I'm a Raven and Saints fan. Saints was horrible before Drew Brees came here. But I still loved them when Aaron Brooks was QB and I still love them now! My wish this season is Ravens & Saints Superbowl!! :229031_rofl:

I don't think the Browns will be pushovers. They certainly have surprised a few teams they have played against. Now I think we should beat them, but hey any given Sunday. :baltimore-ravens:
