Kindle Expected To Sign Rookie Tender Monday

I don't understand why he didn't just take the one year deal. Even if he never plays football (and it's not looking great), he could collect some checks.

Since he didn't play any games this year due to injury, does he count as a Rookie next season? I.e. Can he go for Rookie of the Year [i]next[/i] year?

I think in basketball, when Greg Oden was out for his rookie season, his next one still counted as a rookie season.

I think this still counts as his rookie season. He will just have spent it on Reserve.

Are you sure? I thought it was almost like a collegiate red shirt year, because he hasnt stepped on the field hes considered a rookie still.

Nah, this is still considered his rookie year.
Which sucks, cuz I really was looking forward to seeing him bring home the ROY trophy.

Back to back years drafting a pass rusher in the second, and nothing to show for it.

I'm just glad he is going to be OK and he sounds hungry to play. Can't wait til training camp. Think it would be a good idea to give him a ground level room though....

I actually loved this pick when I hear it announced, and am utterly still in disbelief that he broke his head. If Kindle dressed this year I really thought that we were going to have a great DE tandem in our nickel and dime packages with Suggs and him.
