Lets give Bulger a shot. 23.8 rating is off the charts HORRIBLE. Oh, thats taboo speak, lets just stick with Joe & waste all the weapons we picked up over the offseason...

I just don't understand the issue here. Our offense was good last year, we made excellent acquisitions, and now our offense can't score. What's the deal?

This game was soooooooooooooooooooooo frustrating to watch. Im so sick of Flacco looking so horrible against the Bengals and I also got to place some blame on the receivers and also on the coach and OC. The gameplan seemed horrible as always against the Bengals. I am so tired of losing to these guys. Much props to the defense though still only giving FGs but we still aint gettin no turnovers and really no sacks. I aint mad though cuz at least they doin they job and keepin us in the game. Palmer wasnt terrific but at least he aint turn the ball over. Flacco got 1 TD, 5 picks and 1 fumble in 2 games. Brady picked these guys apart last week, did we not have that film? We do exactly what the Bengals expect us to do and they make us look inept. Im just gonna stop there...tooo frustrated!

The simple fact of the matter is Flacco doesn't have the smarts or instincts to be a winning QB in the NFL. He is slow and confused almost all the time, it just doesn't show up as much when they are running the ball effectively. I always hear Flacco defenders saying the other team puts 8 in the box because they don't fear our receivers when in reality they don't fear Flacco even a little bit. This kind of draft pick can ruin a franchise because since he was a high pick there is a reluctance to give up on the guy and admit the front office made a mistake. They better start looking for a QB now because they are going to need one. Bulger is better than Flacco with his quick release, accuracy and knowledge of offense but he'd get hurt after 2 games so he is not the answer. We are in for a long, long, long season.

Will everyone calm down yes it was an awful game by joe flacco but that doesnt mean he shouldnt start and as soon as flacco has a good game (like he will vs the browns) those of you calling for his starting job will regret it

Hopefully just a bad day by Joe Flacco, but at this point I really think they need to go back to basics with the offense.
Joe is not quite ready to make the leap to an elite QB. He is tentative and lacks the confidence and leadership on the field.
The O-Line is over-rated and they need to stop forcing the game plan around the wide receivers. I also, think Cam's play calling is sub par in the first 2 games along with poor special play. At this point I still have the confidence, but the Offense has an Identity crisis and Harbaugh and Cam better make some decisions that benefit this team. The Defense is outstanding and this past game was a wasted effort. A super bowl team doesn't look this anemic for 2 straight games. Well......let's see.

At least Harbaugh recognizes the problem. That's a start. Why can't we get Smith back? Has he signed anywhere yet. My new tee shirt says Flacco is wacko. He looked very spotty in the pre-season. Where were the coaches and management looking? I guess they thought a lot of high paid wr's would solve the problem. In order for a wr to make receptions, they need the ball in the general area of their hands. The number of times that Flacco tossed the ball out of bounds was outrageous. The few times he didn't do that he threw interceptions. Has he got the flu? What's going on? Like I said at least Harbaugh saw the same game we saw. That's a start.

I still have faith in flacco but he needs to just get his head on right. I have seen what he can do, but todays game was really hard to watch and I wanted to cry a pool of tears from just watching todays game. COME ON JOE WE R COUNTING ON U.GIVE GIVE RAVENS NATION SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF!!

This game was torture to watch, today. The level of concern's got to be fairly high, regarding Joe's progress.Whether it's a lack of confidence,fear,etc...I don't know. But,I definitely don't like the look in Flacco's eyes. The defense came through once again, and looked awesome. It's great to see Lardarius back on the field, too. That being said, with the weapons we have to work with on offense, there is ZERO excuse for this type of performance! I HATE losing to the effin' Bungles!!!

Flacco is not better than Bulger and who cares how good he looks next week against the Browns. He needs to step up against good defenses and so far has not proven he can including the playoffs. I am sooo tired of our defense performing so well for nothing. Cam def has to get some blame though, how can you not run Rice and McGahee more especially after we got the lead? Terrible game planning and horrible qb play! With that said I still believe we will be a lot better the rest of the season. GO RAVENS!

Anquan Boldin was visibly upset with his QB. Joe was missing receivers when they were open and throwing the ball into coverage. In reality the Bengals covered the Ravens receivers well. The Ravens need to improve pass blocking and offense play calling. The bad penalty calls by officials sealed the deal. It is too early to point fingers.

I'm confused, am I on the Philadelphia Eagles website or the Ravens? I was very unhappy with how Flacco played just like everyone else but after hours of getting over it I remembered there are 14 more games to be played.

Yes, Joe did not play very well. Yes, the play calling wasn't very good and really put Joe in those positions if you think about. We definitely needed to run more. Hopefully Cam will remember we're a run first team even with added weapons. Yes, the defense was great and anyone who says the Bengals offense beat us, didn't watch the game. Our secondary also proved their worth and we'll be getting Cary Williams back and we're that much closer to Reed's return. Not to forget Cody's return.

Those two penalties on Ray and Suggs were horrible.

The one ball Housh dropped downfield one on one, he was interfered with. Their secondary is good and we were playing with fire constantly throwing the ball.

The defense was great like I said before, and don't hate me for saying this it's just an observation, but the defense missed some opportunities themselves, turnover wise. But other than that we couldn't ask much more of them.

Bring on the Browns.

Sorry this was so long.

No excuses for all those interceptions. However, the receivers were well covered most of the game and Joe was running quite a bit. He was lofting many passes out of bounds because the receivers were covered. The pics were because he was trying to force it where it couldn't fit. Housh couldn't hold onto anything today. Why weren't we running the ball I ask.
Very disappointing.

I must say. last week I blamed Flacco's performance on the fact that we were playing a good D, and it being game 1 of the season, and nit having time to gel w/ the rcvrs. Now, after this game, Flacco throwing 4 pics is no excuse. Yes, the bogus penalty called against Suggs was bs, but the 4 pics by Flacco are what did it. I am so pissed at Flacco I that I don't know what to think at this point. I will say this though, why, when we were doing SO good at running the ball, we would then pass 3-4 times and have to punt. I understand Cam wants to get our pass offense going, but obviously todaty was not the day to do so. I believe if we kept runnung the ball, the bengals D would were out and Rice would eventualy break through for a big one. So all this being said, Ravens D, thanks for all you do, you guys are awesome. Flacco, Cam and the recievers (except for Heap and Mason), get it together or get out!
@ravens realist, quit being so damn negative.

@big hits. You have to u/stand though, we had a chance to be 2-0, and be up in a very tight afc north. even the steelers are playing good ball. 4 pics are 4 pics, no excuses.

flacoo made very poor decisions throughout this game. there were a few times where he had receivers open and failed to even look in their direction. he's started every game since he's been in the league and he's played this team before. there aren't any excuses for this kind of performance. yes cincy did well covering but they didn't do such a good job to completely take our receivers out of the game. he has all the weapons he needs and the front office has done the best any group of people could do to put playmakers around him. its time for him to shine or at least not lose games

Sorry I'm am so tired of fans in Baltimore. I have lived here my whole life and they have always been this way. First Flacco has had a bad game the last two games. There is no excuse for his throws this game, last game his int was either the play design or the receiver in the inside breaking the wrong way because you had two receivers in the corner, which meant you had at least two defenders with them. You have a make shift line. It seems to me there aren't enough short routes across the middle being called when you have all of these physical WRs and TEs and don't use them for what they are designed for, but todays game either way was decided by two lousy penalty calls that ended up costing us 6 points. As far as his preseason, Flacco had a decent preseason with his weakest performance beeing against the Redskins with a 67.7 QB rating. The other two games he played in he had a 89.0 and 127.1 QB rating. Todays game was aweful, but these last two games have been against two of the best defenses in football with a weak offensive line. Flacco has been at fault but his performance isn't the only problem. Instead of finding the good thing in a bad game like a true fan would do, go ahead and b*tch, but please don't ever call yourself a Ravens fan again. Just in case you don't know what the good point was, we pretty much shut down an offense with two of the best WRs playing with one of the best QBs. Our secondary has been picked at all off-season and all they have done so far is play the game...

@NorthernVaRaven I completely understand, like I said before I was also unhappy with Joe. Though I think they game planned wrong, Joe still didn't execute in the given game plan. So I'm not trying to give excuses for Joe I was just stated what I observed. But I agree with you, no excuses for Joe. But you still have to realize Cam Cameron didn't put him in the best positions against a good secondary. It is what it is and now it's over.

By the way, sorry for all the posts.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel that Jim Zorn is having a negative effect on Flacco?? This IS NOT the Flacco from last year.
