Bryant Johnson Still On The Market

24 posts in this topic

Bryant johnson a 6'3'' 213 pounds with a 4.37 40 time coming out of college is still taking offers. Currently he has been targeted by buffalo and the broncos.

Bryant is orignally from baltimore. Playing highschool football at city college. I still think this guy is a big time player if given the right chance and right team. I hope we still pursue him.

I honestly dont think he is worth the money he would ask for. Bolden was a 2nd round pick and he got beat out by him and then again by Larry Fitzgerald. Just because he was a first round pick, doesnt mean he's a good player. We have followed the NFL long enough to know that the Cardinals organization has no clue on how to build a team.

I would rather use the draft this year to solidify our WR corp. We already have 4 decent or could be decent pass-catchers in Mason, Clayton, Williams, and Figurs but we just haven't learned how to use them yet, which is where Coach Cam comes in =)

I don't think the Bills have offered him one. They're probably going after Malcolm Kelly in the draft.

The longer he is on the market the more his value drops which means less money :D keep track on him. i think the bucs were looking into him also. If we could get this guy cheap i think it would be the biggest steal in free agency this year.

The bills have so many holes i dont know if they wanna give him 4-5 mil which is prolly what he is looking for, i think if he fell down to the 2-3 mill range we could have a greater chance of picking him up. Keep your fingers crossed.

Wow, the 49ers have now completed their mediocre receiving core that will probably rival Jacksonville's.

LOL. I think Jacksonville beats them out by a long shot though. 3 first busts and an aging cocky reciever. At least the 49ers have picked up someone who has a Superbowl ring and was a proven threat in his hayday.

now he is a 49er

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3293318

it's a one year deal which makes sense because I believe he still has to prove himself especially without Boldin and Fitz. Wouldn't have mind getting him though, oh well.

well that fantasy was nice while it lasted...just like the 49ers to make moves but, still not be able to go anywhere...

ok so let me get a new WR discussion going...peerless price anyone? Tab Perry maybe? David gievns...troy brown? sammie parker?

whats about Dvein Thomas :D lol

but peerlice price is still fast and can still play the jump ball, troy brown isnt a wr to druel over but he is a decent Wr and can bring good route running and solid hands, most importantly competitiveness to the field,

sammie parker..are YOU SERIOUS...??

he has the kinda speed that challenges secondaries at the second level he runs great routes, his hands are good and he provides a deep threat that has to be accounted for. see more upside than downside with the guy..

Tab Perry was a back up Wr on the bengals. He was injured early in his career so really never had a chance to shine with Tj whose ya mamma and ocho cinco in the line up. But he is a big physical wr (6'3'', 210) out of UCLA and a great special teams player. He broke records for returning kicks and punts at UCLA and he could immediatley be a solid 3/4 man and an excellent back up to yamon figurs heaven forbid he gets hurt for a game or 2.

Not to mention all of these names could be reeled into baltimore relatively cheap!!
