Week 2 - Baltimore Ravens At Cincinnati Bengals

I don't know if it's Flacco or the receivers or Cam, but keep in mind that New England pulverized this same Cincinnati secondary last week.

Im sorry but there is absolutely no one else to blame except Flacco... not the refs, playcalling, O line, anything! If you want to blame someone else... blame harbs for not taking him out... the Sophmore slump came a year later than expected
Are you joking?

Yes, 4 picks should never happen but you'd have to be blind to not see how bad the O line was performing.

Everyone blames Flacco, no blames out O-line- who has looked like absolute crap both games this season. Flacco has NO time to throw to let plays develop.
are we watching the same game? ok, lets blame the line for his bad decision making when he has 4 seconds back there. he cant read defenses, that is the problem

Flacco will get better, but today he looked like a confused rookie. We have made a lot of decisions in the off season to make a run this year and he is a big part of this so let's continue to support him it's still a long season ahead of us.

It's not just that he threw four interceptions, it's that they were pretty much all almost totally on him.
Yes but it wasn't his fault.. if Cam would have called less passing plays Joe may have had less interceptions and we may have won the game with Rice running. Cam Cameron needs to get his head straight and realize he isn't in SD anymore, he isn't going to make Joe into Phillip Rivers... Cam needs a lesson in the Ravens way.... RUN, RUN, RUN!

Joe Flacco played horrible this game. His accuracy seems to have gotten worse and I don't know if he's trying to hit receivers or throwing it out of bounds.

All these weapons and we can only put 10 points on the board?

He waits too long to throw the ball. How much time does he need to pass? The game is only an hour long.

Not to mention the numerous overthrows, one to Pitta for a TD, and ignoring Boldin when he was wide open that would've been a TD for sure.

This is sad! You can come up with all the excuses you want but right here and right now Flacco is not good at all! Now I guess you will say that the Wr's were not open, oh he did not have enough block or maybe this is only his 3rd year.

Cam set him up for failure, he stopped running the ball and the pass was expected. Joe played bad but it would have been better if Cam actually knew he had a Top 3 running back.
Cam set him up for failure by playing him... thats about the only way you can blame Cam i mean we didnt ask for Joe to throw 4 TDs... we didnt ask him to do anything! He couldnt even do that

The Bengals actually beat us the way we have one plenty of games...Defense and field goals with Matt Stover. We have always been a field position team and we were killed with field position today. Also I hope we will not be fighting the refs again this year with bad calls. The call for tripping on Ray Lewis and the rouging the passer on T-Sizzle were obvious bad calls. I don't want any apologies from the league office this week about it I want WINS and we can't fight both the other team and the zebras this year again!

Joe Flacco or Joe Cutler?
At this point, I'd MUCHHHHHH rather have Jay Cutler. He did pretty good against the Cowboys today. At least he can throw it to the open guy, his problem is he just tries to do too much with it if he doesn't have someone open.

When does #20 Return. Zibby is doing ok but there was a play today were he had a chance for a pick 6 that we all know that Ed Reed would have made the play.

I was implying that Flacco is acting like Cutler of '09. Plenty of ints throughout the game, but the painful game ending one at the end was very Cutler-esque.

Not only was the offense not able to do anything throughout the entire game, but they literally couldn't get a single drive going on two potentially game-winning drives.

On the second attempt, Flacco and co. had six tries to gain ten yards and couldn't do it, not being able to orchestrate a single play when everything was on the line. Furthermore, it wasn't even like the offense had reached Cincy's territory and was just stalling, they actually couldn't put together a single play to gain notable yardage.

It's hard to understand how Flacco/Cam couldn't get any one of Boldin/Mason/Rice/McGahee/McClain/Heap/Housh, all big-time players, into a position where they could break open just one catch/run, especially considering that the Patriots absolutely shredded this same Cincinnati team a week ago.

Even if Joe lights up the Browns (which I have severe doubts at this point), it means nothing because it's the BROWNS... Week 4 we get a Steelers defense that is looking really good. We're in trouble, guys.

I think we let the hype get to our heads.

On another note, how in the world do they call tripping on Ray and Roughing on Suggs? Those two calls very well could have cost us the game.

Some of us played it safe and called an 8-8 season for just that reason.

Again, Flacco cost the Ravens the game. The refs turned on Baltimore in the end, but they spent most of the game penalizing the Bengals.

Yes, but the calls on the Bengals were legit and more or less meaningless. Ours were crucial, game-altering plays.

JOE <your play> sucked! give Mark a turn this was the worst I have seen the Ravens offense play in a long time. There is no excuse for 4 ints. Plus there is no way all of our receivers were covered all the times you threw it away. Comeonman!
