Beer & Chili, dangerous combo! Hope they have the exhaust fans running full blast! At the very least, the game won't stink!

Dangerous and beautiful are sometime synonymous. And yes, by the 4pm games, one can only hope the chili smell masks whats really going on.

Good question. I was shocked we were wearing purple vs. the Jets. The Bengals must be wearing white. Its gotta be a fall sun and temperature thing. It was a little warm in NJ before the skys opened up before the Jets game.

Yeah well San Diego tried the same thing last year and we all know how that turned out!! Granted it was San Diego but who cares, they can go out there in wife beaters and lay the smack down on them kittens!! Whatever they wear it wont make no difference when that game clock reads 00:00!!!

Thanks Mod 2 for putting the tv maps link in first post. Now I need to figure out where I am watching the game since my local coverage is Titans/Steelers.
It's pretty surprising that Bengals/Ravens don't have a bigger viewing area considering they were both playofff teams last year, and this game has all kinds of inplications.

Mod2 are you doing this on purpose, posting the thread open at 2 am in the morning? How am I going to be first in the pool if I have to work early on Friday morning, hmmmm?

Now the pool area looks like a warzone because drunk Nurps showed up first!

Usually our seasons have been packed with 4:15 games. I'm surprised this year to see we don't have one single 4:15 game.

It's going to be a hard fought win but if we limit mistakes I think we get the W.
[/quote]

If we win the turnover battle it's lights out. In fact I'd be willing to say in every game we win the turnover battle this year, we win.

I love where I live. Since I'm in Cecil County and have Armstrong cable, I get both Baltimore channels as well as Philadelphia. I have 2 CBS channels and 2 FOX channels. This week I get the Steelers/Titans game on CBS (philly), Ravens/Cincy on CBS(Baltimore), and Eagles/Lions game on FOX (Philly) all at 1pm. Then at 4:15 pm, I get Patriots/Jets on CBS (Philly), Texans/Redskins on CBS (Baltimore), and Seahawks/Broncos on FOX (Baltimore).

Don't be jealous.

:)

ETA: Whoops, this post was in response to FlaccoFlicker and PuRock but I misinterpreted it at first. Nevermind.

I totally agree with that. Lets hope we do better than -2. I'm looking forward to seeing our defense against them. Our front 7 domintaed against the jets and they have a good o-line.

A majority of the "experts" are saying that we're going to have a letdown because of how emotional the Monday Night game was and because it's a short week AND on the road. Well, we might as well not get off the bus, it's already written in stone, we can't win <_<

I love it. Keep doubting us!

24-13 RAVENS!

Flacco goes 22/34 for 278 with 2 TD's while Rice adds another!

Billy makes an appearance as well to round off the scoring!

--The game this weekend could be more exciting than the Ravens-Jets game.
--The play calling by the Ravens in the Jets game was split almost 50-50 between pass and rush. I don't think the Ravens will deviate from that, but, the results could be completely different. I believe the Ravens will have approximately the same amount of yards throwing the ball but quite a few more yards running than the previous week.
--If the Ravens control the time of possesion, the Ravens should win the game. What may come into play this week are the injuries to the Ravens players. Even if they are on the field, they may not be able to play 100 percent. (Heap, Lewis, etc..)
--After facing a strong defense last week, the Ravens should not be surprised by a lesser defense this week.
--The Ravens defense cannot expect to completely shut down Palmer, so the corners and safety positions have to take advantage of every possible opportunity to intercept and knock down passes. These opportunities may be far between, because Palmer is not Sanchez.
--As New England demonstrated last week, you can allow yards from the opposing offense as long as they don't score touchdowns. And this is where statistics do not show the whole game. Great numbers by an individual player usually means the team will lose, because not enough players are contributing to the team. Sometimes you will win this way but more likely than not the team will lose.
--I do not predict scores, but more than likely this should be a great game with strong offense for both teams. I believe the Ravens will surprise people with their offense this year. Everyone expects the defense to be good but I think it also will be better than expected. "GO RAVENS"
