This Guy Is A Beast

I think there is a possibility that we may draft Gholston. Ozzie just said at the combine, "You cannot have too many pass rushers." I have been thinking that we would draft an O-lineman, but if John and Ozzie are comfortable with the talent that we have on the OL, we may take Gholston. However, DB is also a strong possibility.

I don't think we'll draft an oliner in the first round again.

and with our aging dlinemen like gregg and pryce, it wouldn't be to bad to get gholston.

i just hope we don't draft an QB.

i just watched the video where Gholston took on Jake Long.

This guy is really a beast

I think that was the only sack he gave up all season.

GHOLSTON CANNOT PLAY A DE IN A 3-4. HE WILL NOT MAKE IT PAST THE JETS. WE WILL NOT BE GETTING GHOLSTON.

IF YOU WANT TO WATCH REAL FOOTAGE WATCH HIM GET MANHANDLED BY ILLINOIS.

Gholston is a player I would love to have on the Ravens. Make our pass rush even better. But if he isn't available then I would expect the Ravens to draft a CB or possibly trade down if they feel no corner is worth the 8th pick.

trade down maybe depending if chris long, jake long, glenn dorsey, sedrick elis, and ryan clady arent there

mcfadden--# 1 RB

jake long--# 1 DE

glen dorsey--#1 DT

chris long--#1 OT

ryan clady #2? OT

jeff otah #2? OT

matt ryan--#1 QB

sedrick elis--#2 DT

gholston..#1 LB/ #2 DE

mckelvin--# 1 CB

those are the top 8 prospects

1.Miami---Top Needs-[Qb,OT] If taylor goes DE----(1.jake Long, then 2.chris long then 3.matt ryan)

2.Rams---Top Needs-[DE /OT]----(1.Chris Long, 2.Jake Long, 3.Glen Dorsey)

3.Atlanta---Top Needs-[QB, Rb??],everything else----(1.Matt ryan, 2.Brohm, 3.Glen Dorsey, 4.McFadden)

4.Oakland---Top Needs]-[RB/DT]----(1.McFadden, 2.Glen Dorsey, 3.Sedrick Elis)

5.KC-Top Needs---[OT/QB]-----(1.Ryan Clady, 2.Jeff Otah, 3.Matt Ryan, 4.Brohm, 5.Woodson)

6.Jets-Top Needs---[RB?DT]----(1.McFadden, 2.Sedrick Elis)

7.Patriots---Top Needs-[CB/LB]----(1.Mckelving, 2.Talib, 3.Jenkins, 4.Gholston)

8.Ravens---nuff said

Gholston will likely be at 8 if the pats dont take him. If not sedrick elis and the ravens arent gonna pass on him for a cb

The Jets still probably need an OLB, and the Rams will probably switch to a 3-4 and would want Gholston. The Patriots could want him but it's doubtful.

Besides Quentin Groves is an awesome pass rusher who actually has experience at OLB who could be available at pick #40.

Dont know if you get the NFL package from direct tv but if you ever seen the rams play you know they desperately need a DT and if Miami Doesnt take doresy and the rams pass on him 2 then it would be like when that one team? passed on jordan

dorsey is far better than gholston and if we had to choose between the 2 hate to say gholston wouldnt even be a second thought 2 me. No WAY dorsey gets passed the 3rd pick. Rams need a OT more than they need OLB

and as far as the jets go if mcfadden is still around how can you pass on him? i mean especially when you need a rb. how?

It's already been established that Glenn Dorsey cannot play any line position in the 3-4. If the Rams are switching to a 3-4 then he's basically useless to them.

so if jordan could only play in a triangle defense you wouldnt draft him cuz he only plays 2-3 zone?

4-3 DT do the same line stunts as 3-4 tackles and if the defensive cordinator couldnt find a way to use dorsey than he shouldnt be apart of this league thats an embarrassment to football.

You're probably thinking that the Nose Tackle has the same stunts. Dorsey plays the Under Tackle which has a different technique (3 I think) then the End (5 technique), where he would be projected to play. He just can't play the proper technique, it's a shame.

no im thinking about the same stunts

one guy will rush one way the other guy will twist behind him with another guy filling in the empty gap.

technique is just for play calling and basically directions for where to go. the a gap b gap 5 technique 3 technique ect ect. the nose may line up over the 3 technique but twist aand collapse the 5 technique while the left end twist to the 3 technique..

basically they(DT, NG) will be in the same general area in either base really, just lined up to the left or right a lil differently. they will ultimatley do the same thing.

you can have the exact 11 players lined up in 3-4 and the exact 11 players lined up and 4-3 and run the same play with a different name. your assuming that in 4-3 suggs drops back into the normal olb position off the line. normally teams without hybrid players like suggs bring in an end when switching fomr 3-4 to 4-3

suggs jus happens to play both positions extremely well. Which is why ryans exotic looks confuses so many offenses cuz they dont know who is going where.
