Really, Flacco didn't even see the guy coming on his right, and he got sandwiched.
I really hope he's alright.
That was an impressive play by the Jets.

Impressive as in doing their jobs? If Joe actually remembered what the block scheme was, the Jets would have gotten to him after he had thrown the ball. Joe made a mistake, one that he should remember for a while.

Did anyone else get a flashback of the Bart Scott hit after Joe went down. My eyes widened and I got real scared for a second...the way Joe lay there on the ground...

Yes, but only really because the actual hit looked similar. Honestly, I can't remember him laying there but I'll take you word for it.

I was actually glad that he took the hit in one sense. He got his feet wet so to speak. How he responed after was an indication of the kind of QB he is, and I was pleased with how he came back out, seemingly undeterred.

Man, that play scared me when I saw it first off. I thought for sure we were doomed.

But I love the way that Joe took the Jets' best shot, stood right back up and spat in their faces. That's why I love this guy.

Atleast we know we got one tuff QB.

I thought they could have thrown a helmet to helmet flag. The first hit was the guy"s helmet into Joe's face mask then chin.

Well, I've seen a lot of people get KO'd for a couple of seconds then come back to reality (MMA is another favorite sport of mine). Flacco was complete laid out under a 300lbs man, and the way he crumpled, it reminded me of one of those quick KOs. I wouldn't be surprised if he saw black for a second, because his helmet almost came clean off. But yes, he is a warrior for standing right back up; you think a small QB like Brees would have gotten up that quickly? I have my doubts...as much as I respect the Saints QB's skill.
