Besides the Browns and Pats last year, when have the Ravens not given us a nail biter. It seems like every game we are on the edge of our seats till the last second.

It drives me crazy. I don't know how I will be able to handle it when I get older. I'm already fearing a heart attack on game day.

Here's to hoping the Ravens change this year, and start blowing people away!
[/quote]

I am with you on that. These nail biters are tough on the old ticker. I wish the Ravens would gives us a break and just go ahead and win one in the 1st quarter. You have to love them though. They do provide the fans with some exciting football.

Here come the Bengals fans.

Noobs to this board this year, be prepared for Bengals fans. While some of them are really respectful, I find that they have the most bad apples.

I expect a well hard fought game in which both sides will have some big plays...,, really looking forward to seeing our offense take it up a notch and really see this airal attack get it all going......i would expect flacco's timing and rhthym with boldin and housh to continue grow in the right direction...,week 1, however sh was targeted by flacco a few times...but only one catch...,so i would really expect flacco to further the timing with housh even more...and see housh be the player we know he is......,judging its against his former team.......his best effort is in toe.

Nothing has been confirmed but the last we heard from him, he said he expects to suit up Week 2.

We should call them the bundles because when Ray Lewis wraps them up he wraps them in bundle...

Apparently Ocho doesn't remember that hit from Ray Lewis last time. Ocho likes talking tough to our running backs because he knows they can't lay him out in the open field like Ray will.

I think both Skip and Robert Smith made good points on first take this morning regrading the Bengals and Ravens game. Both appeared to think that the Ravens were the better team, with Smith basically saying that Bengals wouldn't be able to keep up with our physical style of play for 60 mins.

On the other side, Skip said the Bengals would win, but not neccessarily on talent or being the better team. His point was that the Ravens are coming off a superbowl like intense game vs the jets("Not yets") and have a short week to get ready. Skip doesn't believe that the Ravens will be able to get back to that emotional level 2 weeks in a row.

The reason why i bring this up, is because i couldn't help but gain more respect and apperciation for coach Harbaugh after watching his show last night. When he spoke about the game coming up, he seemed to almost make it a point to label the Bengals as the defending AFC North Champs, he mentioned how they swept us last season and beat us "handingly" as he said.

The Reason why i like this so much is because it keeps the Ravens focused on the task at hand. The Ravens made the Jets game personal and we played up to that level. Well that is the same thing we need to do against the Bengals(minus all the talk and hype). Know and understand that this is the team that posted 2 100 yard rushing games on you, this is the team that basically prevented you from holding that title of AFCN champs, this is the team that prevented you from having that higher Playoff seed. This is the team that holds the title of best in the divison. If you wanna change that then you gotta got out and take it from them.

Listening to a lot of Bengals fans, they seem to think that the biggest reason they will win this game is because the Bengals have some kind of a chip on their shoulders because of losing and not wanting to go 0-2 at home. Well imo Harbaugh is making sure his players keep that mental edge by making the comments he has made when refering to the Bengals. They kicked our butts last year, now it's time to go out and prove we are truely the better team. Now only be just winning the game, but dominating the LOS on both sides of the ball and taking it to them for 60 mins.

I really don't think Harbs gets the credit he truely deserves as a head coach. He outcoached Belichek in the playoffs last season, he outcoached Rex monday night, and he continues to put his team in get positions to be mentally ready for games. Does he make mistakes from time to time? Yes, but overall he has done great.

I think in years past the Ravens would probably come into this Bengals game very flat and have a let down. However this year i think Harbs will make sure that this Ravens team know exactly what is at stake Sunday afternoon.

The chance to go 2-0 in the AFC, 1-0 in the AFCN, defeat the Bengals on the road, knowing that the next game vs them will be the final game of the season. We have a chance to put a stringle hold on the divison early and never really look back.

I feel the Ravens will come out Sunday just as fired up and ready to play as they did Monday night, and i feel Harbs will be the guy who should recieve a lot of the credit for it. They say to be the best you gotta beat the best. Well the Bengals, ragardless of what happened last week, are viewed as the best in the AFC North right now. Now it's time to take the North.

I agree. The week is only 1 day shorter than the Bengals week, and I would assume that we would be on a winning high where the Bengals are on a losing low. Lets go in there and hand stick it to them.

I'm hoping we can toy with the LB's of the Bengals like the Pats did last Sunday. They fell for the playfake many times and if we can get our run game going against them I see them falling for it. If we create matchup problems for the Jets we will create matchup problems for any team in the league, I expect to see Housh and Boldin flip flop between the slot to get them away from the Bengals better corners so they can pick on mr. Pacman.

Yea, our swag is on full attack since last game, and if we keep it up, the Bengals wont know what just hit them since coming off their blunder last game.

We need to prove this is our season and our division by beating the Bengals at home.
I think it's bigger than the Jets game for that reason.

Has anyone started a Bengals look-a-like thread yet?

BTW, I just read that Paul Brown Stadium is not Sold out for Sundays game yet, and Most likley wont be for Gametime. Blackouts for Cincy.

Our Home tickets sold out in 20 minutes, for the whole season.

They won't have a blackout. Ocho will buy them out for charity or have a contest. He's a good guy like that. But it doesn't surprise me the Bengals struggled with that last year even though they won the division.
