^^YOu mean 0-2 Purock?
Yeah, chalk it up as another slip.

I'm pretty sure the Bengals would love to go 2-0 if they still could. But they screwed that up.

I strongly believe the Ravens will go 2-0 against the Bengals.

Carson is a top 10 NFL qb, especially with CJ and TO on the receiving end of his arm- but we nearly beat the Bengals twice last year when we had an inferior WR core. The Bengals team is nearly intact from what it was last year and I like the matchups we have on defense and offense.

My prediction:

Ravens: 24
Bengals: 13

I'm not completely buying into the explosive offense of Cincy.

Throughout the whole pre season their offense has been lethargic, not getting much done at all really. Then it was the same story against New England until the second half when they only had 3 points and were in panic mode.

I say as long as the Ravens keep good pressure on Palmer, and take Benson out of the picture the game should be ours.

C. Palmer is a veteran QB, and can play his position very well. He's Not mark sanchez, or an inexperianced QB.

I'm not "sold" on their pass offense just yet, and it's a must that we get pressure on palmer (Our pressure should be good with our now rejuvinated pass-rush). Also, We have to stop that run game of their's. With cody possibly returning from his minor injury week 2, he should help the run defense tremendously (If he's active).

For their defense, I dont know what to expect honestly. Yes they have some very good players throughout their defense, but how will they play? Is their defense consistent, or was it a "one hit wonder" type of thing? (The only teams I can think of that has had consistent defenses year in and year out is baltimore and pittsburgh.)

Bottomline: We have to get off to a fast start and not let up. That team is capable of doing damage, but so are we. It's definately gonna be a tough, hard fought game (against a division rival at that).

I'm not a "predictions" guy, so i'll leave that alone. But I can see the ravens getting this win.

it will be about who makes the most mistakes. both teams match up well an im sure the bengals will show up ready to play. we need to reduce the turn overs.

i know that we are still a running football team but when we run that no huddle offense its very difficult for teams to key in on what were doing an that opens up the passing game. hopefully cam will work this into his gameplan. i didnt like the way we closed out the jets game. we got lucky the play calling was in favor of the jets.

Agreed. Why in the world decided to call a toss play around the 30 is completely beyond me.

Those are the type of plays where loss of yards has a high percentage of happening. I would've thought they'd limit that risk.

Exactly. A draw or a dive would have pretty much eliminated the risk of losing yards and gave Cundiff a better shot at a FG.

I see Joe and our receivers having a great game. We are not facing a defense like the Jets that dials up pressure every pass play. Boldin and Housh played big last night and proved they aren't just guys who can only catch over the middle, but they can go up and grab the ball along the sidelines.

Housh is a big 6'2 while Boldin can outshield defenders with his thick frame. Plus you also can't forget about Mason and Heap either or you are going to get stuck in the mouth.

I just hope Mason and Flacco can get their deep ball worked out. Too many times on that deep ball they get out of sync. Flacco can't seem to estimate Mason's speed close enough to be able to drop it in.

Rice may be able to break one in this game, but I don't see him having an entirely big game. I don't know if anyone else was thinking the same but McGahee looked a little hesitant out there running the ball last night. Here's hoping he just lowers his shoulder and grinds out as many yards as he can.

Inside the redzone, Flacco needs to stay calm and just make the throw. Last night's redzone throw to McClain was really pathetic.

I see our defense having a great game overall. Hopefully Carr continues to prove me right in showing he isn't as bad as everyone thinks he is.

Our secondary will definitely face a challenge. These are two top-notch receivers, but the way our defense played last night I'm confident that we can bring it to em. The Pats Bungles game tape will definitely be studied and we'll follow the same gameplan. I'm excited about what our offense can do against that defense

You can talk all the smack you like, but Chad is a great receiver. I hate him but I have to respect his skill. He can make a crap QB look good.

My question is who will be covering chad. Will it be carr? If webb is back im sure he will be the nickle untill hes 100% so he will draw shipley. Chad will get his, however im fully confident in fabian shutting out Too Old T.O. Chad had quite a few games last year where he did the dissappearing act.

The ravens will need to continue their success in pass rushing to win this game on the road, and i think they will, the bengals oline isnt up to the jets standards. I see hiloti havng a gigantic game.

As for the ravens offense, they are playing possibly the best cb duo in the league but i dont see that being a huge problem considering how cam used boldin last night . Boldin vs pacman jones is going to be hilarious. I also expect a big game from tj. I cant wait for this game, ican see the bengals easily falling apart if the ravens can strike first

I'm so pumped for this game! Infact, every game!

I know we often say "Oh this year we will beat Cincy" but fall flat. No longer, I say!

Cincy doesnt have the pass rush, nor the corners that the Jets have. That defence was just torched by Tom Brady and company last week. Wes Welker was dominant from the slot - which bodes well for us, running any of our talented receivers from this position - or Mr Rice over the middle, of course.

And no longer are Cincinnati's corners good enough to contain our receivers one-on-one. Anquan Boldin and TJ Houshmandzadeh are significant upgrades on what we have had at our disposal at any point in the past.

Todd Heap is back in Pro Bowl form! This is great news for us.

And you can bet Ray Rice and the big offensive linemen are keen to get that running game going after being largely stonewalled in Week One.

The memories of (albeit questionable) penalties and that game-winning drive by the Bengals last season are no doubt fresh in the minds of our defence. I hope we hit Palmer early and often; and bury the overrated Cedric Benson!

GO RAVENS!!!! Show the Bungles who runs this division now. :baltimore-ravens:

The jets game proved to be a defensive battle in which the Ravens came out on top. This was exagerated due to the fact the jets have very little offensive power. Especially with Holmes being out for 4 games. Their offense should improve once he is back.

The Ravens vs. Cincy will be a battle of the offenses. Yes defense definately plays a major part but I still think it will come down to the big play and also who wins the redzone battle. I think we can dominate in the redzone provided we gameplan around TO and Gresham. These will be their two biggest weapons. Benson will also give an extra dimension to the short game. If we control the line of scrimmage down near the endzone, we should be able to win the battle down there.

I still am very confident in our own offense with our three headed monster running attack, our three headed TE attack and our three headed recieving attack. That is alot of players to account for. Im still not sold on Cincy being able to cover all that will be thrown their way.

I predict another close game during the first half. After that I believe we will wear them down and pull away with at least a two touchdown victory over the Bengals. Even though we are in their house, we have something to prove and it should be a very exciting game.

Geez. Chad's big game on Sunday will fuel his smack talking even more. Luckily they lost. He can smack talk all he wants, have a big day as long as we come home with the win.

They actually have a lot of people predicted Ravens win. Just on the first page alone 5 people picked the Ravens.
Ravens 38-17, Ravens 24-13, Ravens 16-13, Ravens 27-10,Ravens 20-10

Ofcourse there will be some extreme gung-ho predictors. Hell just wait until we start predicting the game. We'll do the same here.

This being a divisional game on the road, with the Bengals facing 0-2. I can fully see this game coming down to the last drive. Who's in the lead, who's driving? I have no idea. But this game will come down to the last drive.

I think we can win this game, I feel really good about it. But it will be another tough game.

I can't handle, nor can I see it happening, another nail biter! This ones going to be a two score differential. I am a homer with this one, which is funny since I just called out Cincy fans....I did give them 13 points though :)

Besides the Browns and Pats last year, when have the Ravens not given us a nail biter. It seems like every game we are on the edge of our seats till the last second.

It drives me crazy. I don't know how I will be able to handle it when I get older. I'm already fearing a heart attack on game day.

Here's to hoping the Ravens change this year, and start blowing people away!
