I can't wait to see how we handle the two mouths - T.O. and Chad the dancer.

Looking to shut them up. :Cool_408:

Oh I'm not worried about them I'm sure Chad & TO will head to the locker room at some point just like they did yesterday against the Patriots.

lol, they are surely not fighters, more like whiners. They are better sticking up with acting career than football itself.

However, chad and T.O are not bad recievers. Our secondary need to be careful. Importantly, our pass rush needs to deliver some hits for Carson, then we don't have to worry about chad or T.O.

Yeah, they may be clowns (as lovable as Chad is, he's still a clown, lol), but we cannot take them lightly. We saw what happened yesterday when NE started to just go through the motions...Chad lit them up like a Xmas tree.

Pressure will be key this game. I'm satisfied we got enough of it on the top 3 line of the Jets. Bengals having O-Line problems also may work into our favor.

In the same breath, we need to stay consistent with our line also.

Looking at how we were able to stop the Jets from running and the Patriots didn't allow the Bengals to run on them, I see us shutting down the Bengals run game, which will equal a W.

We'll definitely take what the Pats did to Cincy. I'm sure Cincy will show us some new things come week 2. Overall it'll be another good, close calling game. If we are able to stretch the field offensively, we may have a slight edge. But we must be able to stop Benson. It looks like we can get to Palmer and put pressure on him.

The Bengals Are coming off a Tough loss in New England, and I can Imagine they are going to be playing tough at home. Bengals fans have been bashing their Quarterback since Sunday, after throwing a Crucial Interception. Many have been calling for his head, but I think there Crazy. Should be a Great Battle. IT could be a Defensive game, or a Offensive game. Our Defense was Dominant Vs the Jets and the Bengals Defense, while filled with Talent, looked very lackluster vs Tom Brady and the Patriots. All Week 2 Talk here. Discus :baltimore-ravens:

There's another thread going on but since I'm in a posting mood:

Should be a good game. If our Defense plays like they are capable of playing then we will win this game. Our Defense tends to make stupid mistakes against the Bungholes. I think Flacco and Rice will have great games playing against a much weaker defense than that of the NY Jets.

Housh will have a big game as well. (He knows the D)

Good luck... It will be a very tough game and I expect an angry Bengals team at home trying to makeup for the poor performance in week 1. A lot of people are doubting them and saying "Same old Bengals, same old Bengals." I believe they will have a point to prove come this Sunday, at least I can only hope, definitely won't be easy.

Well I hope T.O and Chad do a repeat of what they did against the Pats, but sooner, just get up and leave after the 1st half. Hopefully they won't find their way back until the game is over. lol

I think Bengals are going to be tough to beat they have a good RB and receiver line up. I would say the key to beating them, is not giving anything up down field and trying to force them into 3rd and long, because sometimes Palmer cracks under pressure when he has to make a clutch play.

If Palmer is going to screw up it will be due to pressure.

I think it was more along the lines of the Patriots being the Patriots. Cincy wasn't shut out. However, we were able to hold LT to 62 yards rushing. If we do that to Benson, we may have an advantage. Putting pressure on Palmer is another part of the equation.

Week two will be interesting because we won't see quite a defense like Jets, but we will see a better offense. If Joe is alright, and can clean up some issues, I think we won't have much to worry about.

I confess I hate the Bengirls probably even more than the Stoolers. Probably from working out there two years. I would love to sit here and say yeah we got this one but I think odds are stacked against us.
We are coming off a short week against a very physical team
Cincy has extra motivation after a loss in week one.
Unlike the Jets you can bet they are going down the field and often.
Don't sleep on their D If they are on they are pretty solid.
Carson"Rosie"Palmer has owned us. I believe I read somewhere since coming into the league he has only ever lost 3 games against us.

Here's to hoping we step up.

Rex's is bigger then both of their mouths combined and we shut him up,
but seriously yeah this game will be more frustrating and nerve racking then the Jet game.On the road, again, and a division opponent. We will see how good our defense truly is,as the Bengals have an actual offense,as compared to what we faced game 1.
Do we stop the run against Cincy this year?

I'd be extremely cautious about the Bengals, even though they got killed by the Patriots; they put up 21 points in the second half, 14 of them on two consecutive drives going 80 yards and 73 yards in 12 plays apiece.

The key is to get off to a fast start like the Patriots did and milk the clock. The Bengals can gash the Ravens for all the yards they want, but as long as Cincinnati is held to field goals and kept out of the endzone, everything should take care of itself.

we did that a couple of drives last night, but then turned it over.If we can eat the clock and score we can take it very easy. The best defense is a defense on the sidelines

I agree with you. Cincy can be very dangerous this year. I think with the addition of Gresham, their red zone offense is alot more dangerous. If we play strong, disciplined defense then we have a pretty good chance. Our offense is capable of moving the ball. The main concern will be ball security. Last night had me baffled a few times. What was Zibby thinking? I know he is better than that and we cannot afford those kind of mental mistakes. If we keep these things in order and continue to not make the penalties, I see us beating Cincy in another close game.

the 5.5 ypc we gave up last night might be a concern. After the Bengals had 2 100 yd rushing performences on us last year. Then again week 1 things can be adjusted

This is going to be a tough game for us. Divisional games usually are. It's on the road against a Bengals team that doesn't want to go 0-2.

They'll probably just give up on Benson and just test our secondary. This will be a good test for our secondary. Nothing like Sanchez this week.

With that being said, its still a very winnable game for us. It would be great to come away with a divisional win on the road.
