Randall Gay To Saints

The Saints just signed Randall Gay to a four year deal.

NE lost both of its starting corners from last season.

Now that the top FA CB's are under contract, NE has to look to the draft or line up a trade.

Any thoughts?

I think NE are regreting getting so many players' contracts expire at the same time.

It looks like their DB(s) now consist of Rodney Harrison. Well played New England!

Along with Stallworth being gone, along with Gaffney potentially.

If Moss leaves, then NE is back to having 1 decent WR - and as good as Welker is, a MASSIVE amount of his success was/is tied to teams being scared to death of Moss and Stallworth over the top.

Then NE's linebackers are all about 1 step away from the grave.

Plus welker is a slot guy.

Kind of defeats the object of a slot receiver if he's the only one there.

hey.....the only one's whom should feel "sorry" about the Patriots...is the Patriots themselves in being because they put themselves in that position, signing all those play makers. we all knew that they couldnt keep all those guys under contract and in New England for THAT long, something had to give and look what happened...they lost a few key players because of it..and now even Randy Moss is starting to listen to offers from other teams...so it looks like..now New England....the PATRIOTS are on the run (so to speak) and is trying to regroup to makea strong push.
