Rex Ryan still has it also technically these guys only lost by 1 point. Which is saying that this game was neck and neck the two teams equal each other in talent and ability..
Ryan was out-coached last night. The game as close but the Ravens have more talent and ability than the Jets in my opinion.

Ya thats what I was was saying when I wanted him to just revert to his 2000-2003 form when he was just in dudes faces and talking all kinds of crap all game long. He's seemed to mellow out since 2007 and although he's still a playmaker when he just plays and doesnt talk....man when he starts getting in guys faces and he knows he has to back it up he plays like an absolute demon possessed on that field. Last night was exactly that, vintage Ray, laying dudes out, blowing up FBs and causing LT to fall over just from the impact, chasing down HBs in the flats. Just classic Ray. Hopes he keeps the crap talking up cuz he gets to a whole other level when he is.
LOL. I definitely agree with these two (2) quotes all the way. The funniest thing is that next week it has me hoping that Ocho Cinco or TO says something out the way to P Ray off and he wolfs out like a thriller video because that will be crazy.

Harbaugh said it simply and succinctly in his post game conference. Ray Lewis is the best linebacker in the NFL period!
He he he len Keller dropped the ball in anticipation of that monstrous hit by Ray!

i find it hard to believe that everyone around the NFL keeps saying that "Rays lost a step...rays lost a step" if that was the case...then he certainly wouldnt keep delivering big hits week in and week out....ask Darren sproles last season, ask Keller last night....

Actions speak louder than words my friends....action speak louder than words.

I'm sick a tired of hearing people talk about how "old" Ray is! Ask Dustin Keller if Ray has lost a step, he probably won't be able to remember his own name for a couple of weeks. Sure perhaps Ray is considered "old" in contrast to other people in the league. But Ray is not a person, nor is he even human, he is a robot designed to play football and at the ripe age of 35 Ray is just entering his prime!

Ray has lost a step. That can't be denied. But even without that extra kick, he's still arguably the best MLB in the game and among the best defensive players period.

I like to imagine Ocho Cinco had his iPhone out and was preparing to tweet something about Ray last night. Then Keller got walloped, and Chad sort of hesitates, considers, and gently lays his phone down.

Has been said multiple times, Ray may have lost a step, but he is just one less step ahead of all the other line backers. Needless to say his body may not keep up anymore but the intelligence he uses allows him to place himself where he needs to be before it happens.

The hit on Keller was nasty but I've never seen a LB blow up a FB so fast and hard the way Ray did to Tony Richardson since I became a football fan.
Agreed, he blew up that play single-handedly.

Ray turned Dustin Keller into Helen Keller after that hit.

I wish Sergio Kindle was there to take notes...

If something is to occur with his signing, I would expect it to be this week. We'll have to wait and see.

Somebody asked for a link to the hit on Richardson that caused LT to fall....
Ray, still bringing the pain train!!!
It's about 3:30 in.

Ray had more than a few steps to lose ...

Tough to say, honestly. He put on more weight and is as strong against the run as ever. And ever since we've been running two middle linebackers he really hasn't had the opportunity or responsibility to do the sideline-to-sideline bit. But you have to think that someone like Chris Johnson would get outside on him in a way that wouldn't have happened 10 years ago.

Chris Johnson is a freak! I think he would have gotten outside on Ray even in Lewis's prime. He's THAT fast!

No shot, I dont know if you ever watched Lewis in the '98-04 years but Lewis was faster than 3/4 of the leagues HBs then.

What a great hit, but that's nothing new from Lewis, his career is full of these hits. The fact that he frequently does that means that he clearly is great at reading plays and is right there to make the big hit.
I like how Gruden called that hit a "hard knock."
I bet more people tuned into MNF and saw the Jets get punked on National TV, as opposed to Hard Knocks.

P.S. Listen to the crowd when Ray hits him, incredible, you can hear them yell, OHHHHHHHH.
I also want to say that apparently there were a good amount of Ravens fans there. When Heap caught the ball you could hear them yell HEEEEEAAAAAPPPPP!

No doubt, remember when he ran down Tiki Barber from behind at the Superbowl?

Come on guys. We all know Ray Lewis is the greatest, but to say he would have run down Chris Johnson is nothing short of purple blindness. And Tiki Barber didn't have anywhere near the speed of CJ!

The "experts" saying that Ray has slowed down must be a compliment as to how good he was in his heyday, since "slowed down" he is a monster. Keller would have liked him to slow down a bit more. Heh.
