I See Ray Still Has It

93 posts in this topic

Ray was incredible tonight. He tackled a fullback and the running back (ball carrier) in ONE motion.

Lost a step? Slower? Baloney. He's as good right now as he's ever been, and there is no video evidence to justify these kinds of statements you hear from the "experts".

I like the fact that Ray talked the talk and (unlike the Jets) walked the walk. He said he was going to be trouble for them and he was.

Everyone is making fun of Dustin, but if I got hit like that a play before I'd want to end the game like that as well.

But you're not getting paid millions of dollars to make plays. That said, I'm glad he had a senior moment. That won the Ravens that game.

Ray so motivated he knows that the talent on this team is superbowl caliber. He's on a mission, that hit was crazy.

I just love how all the talk by the Jets blows up in their face. What's up with all the superbowl talk they've been pipping? They should have been more focused on game #1!

That hit he put on him was huge, big play at a big time in the game.

Ray is a beast, reminds me of the play he made in the San Deigo game last year..came up big when we needed it to win the game.

lol the jets ate there words so bad. I loved on the one run where ray blew up the fb and caused a 2-3 yard loss on a big 3rd down. I remember when jenkins was talking about ray letting other Lbs take the hits for him. It was funny watching him jaw at the jets sideline after big plays... he REALLY REALLY wanted this one.

This is what happens when you smack talk and pick on Lewis. You motivate the guy like none other. You could see how much he wanted this game in his eyes today.

All I can say is thanks, Rex, Bart and Kris for really firing up Ray. Sorry it didn't work to your advantage.

This JETS fan has nothing but respect for Ray Lewis. Truly a phenomenon. You're absolutely right about all of the talk that has been going on about the SB. We have a long way to go before we start talking that. I'm not a big fan of all of the bravado talk. Good luck with the rest of the season.

Either am I. I take it one game at a time. And I knew this would be a tough game. Now its time to focus on a tough divisional game. Which I'm sure many of our posters will call a cake walk as well. But its still a divisional game.

NFL.com has it put best.

I love how Harbaugh called Ray out during his post game press conference if any of you were watching. He called out anybody that ever said Ray has lost a step. Great!

Ray is awesome he always brings his A game, people can say this ILB or that ILB is better than Ray... but Ray comes through just when you need him, what he brings to the table NO OTHER ILB can ever replace. I will probably shed a tear the day Ray Lewis retires from the NFL.
