Bad Weather. Who Does It Favor?

22 posts in this topic

With it raining and lightening currently in NJ, who do you think it favors? Will it neturalize the passing attack? will their be turnovers from wet conditions.? Who do you think the bad weather helps?

I believe it will favor the Ravens for we will have a solid 3 headed monster when it comes to the running game.

In all honesty. The Jets.

We need to be able to throw the ball effectively to use our weapons effectively. The thing that separates us from the jets is our advantage in the passing game. Rain and wind affects the passing game, so it brings the advantage down.

I have to say the Jets, for he same reasons P-Rock stated above. We have a big advantage at QB and receiver IMO. If it rains, things could get interesting. OH well, we shall see. GO RAVENS!!!

Here is a little update, please forgive me for posting a link. Here is the weather report. I predict that we will fall behind early and the as the weather report shows, rain stops around 8 PM just in time for the Flacco show. Rain will stop, just in time for the lightning on the field. Sorry, that was really corny. I need a shower.

Hopefully it will all be gone by the first quarter. I just saw rain and lightening. Have to say I was little disappointed to see it.

Well the game has been delayed 30 minutes. So the rain and lightning should pass by the start.

Is everyone getting the same ESPN coverage? I've heard the word "Jets" about 400 times in the last half hour.

I love this. I hear nothing but Jets for half an hour, then I hear "Now the Ravens, we know they're a Superbowl contending team. But what about the Jets?"

Why couldn't the new stadium have a dome! sigh.

As a Ravens fan, I prefer to play teams without domes. The less domes the better.

Yeah true. It do get really loud in a dome. Being in the Superdome is super loud. The game needs to start. Because it's driving me crazy. :229031_rofl:

Both teams are effective on the ground, and at stopping the run on defense so i'd say it's equal in that respect. As far as quarterbacks go, I'd take Flacco in the rain over Sanchez in the rain.

Another effect the rain could have on the game is that it could take the crowd out of it. It's going to be loud at the beginning either way, but if the Ravens can steal the momentum early, it's always hard to get the crowd back into the game in bad weather.
