We will win. It'll come down to the QB's and I like Flacco over Sanchez. Because Sanchez is terrible.
yea but other stuff come in to account the ravens arent good at stoping the slants for big yards and the main slant killer vs the ravens is satonio holmes and hes a jet now also there deffence might stop our running game then we will bave to pass it more and there pressure on flacco might cause some problems ! but i think we could still win but maybe by a td or fg .

I believe Santonio Holmes is suspended this game, right?
Yes, I believe he's suspended for the first four games this season.

Welcome back! Haven't seen you around in a while, maybe a year. Perhaps using another screen name?

In all likelihood, they're saying Webb wont see the field Monday.

I'm just happy the man is ready, if not close to being ready. Definitely makes me more comfortable about the secondary lol

Ravens 17, Jets 14. I really think we win this game. It might be a nail-biter, but we'll come out with the win. What a better way to get the season started with a win on the road on Monday night?

You guys don't think Webb will play? I think he'll suit up, but we might rotate him more often than not. Sanchez without Holmes = win for our D.

He's suiting up, but I got a text (either ESPN, Nasty Nester or NFL) that he was not going to see the field. Who knows though...

We'll see what happens. I want him to play just a little so he can get his feet wet. Wilson and Washington whould be able to stop Sanchez though, but having Webb out there would really help us.

No need to push him, but certainly is promising that he's actually suiting up for the season opener like mentioned.

That should mean he should be back in full action by Week 3 or 4 probably.

Revis on Boldin
Cromartie on Mason
Wilson and a LB on Housh

leaves the field open more and more for Heap and Ray Rice.

I'm confident the Ravens will win on Monday night. The Jets' offense simply doesn't scare me and while they have a star-studded D, I feel the Ravens not only match up well with them but can exploit some match-ups too.

I was reading a Yahoo article that touched on this subject and they don't feel Revis will be on Q much:

"Do we really know … Anquan Boldin(notes) will be stranded on Revis Island?

I’ll admit, it would be really fun to watch Boldin and Revis go mano-a-mano for the entirety of Monday night’s game, but the operative word there is would; because it’s not going to happen. It’s true that Boldin was brought in to be the Ravens’ No. 1 receiver, and it’s true that Revis shuts down No. 1 receivers, but Boldin is a bit of a different breed. He rarely ventures down the field – Boldin had just one catch of over 40 yards in Arizona last year – preferring instead to do his damage underneath and over the middle, where his size and brute strength allow him to manhandle cornerbacks. He’s like a mini tight end out there, and the smallish Revis, who admittedly isn’t close to being in game shape, would find the punishing Boldin a less-than-ideal matchup. Rex Ryan knows that, and that’s why I’m guessing we’ll see Revis matched up on Derrick Mason(notes) more often than not. Mason may be a formerly retired 36-year-old, but he still had four catches of over 40 yards last season, which is the same number Calvin Johnson(notes) and Vincent Jackson(notes) had. This could all be a moot point considering the Jets allowed 153 passing yards per game in ’09. Go ahead and bench Joe Flacco(notes), by the way, but if the Ravens do find success through the air, it’ll be Boldin who does the damage."

Let Webb rest up, Sanchez will not beat us through the air.
The thought of Sanchez beating us at all is laughable! Now, the Jets MAY beat us, but it certainly wont be by the hands of Sanchez!

With that said, I still stand strong with 24-10 Ravens!

They're going to put Cromartie on Boldin?

That works well for us. Revis is physical and fast, but Mason is a tricky route-runner. Flacco is used to having a small window to throw into, so tight coverage shouldn't be much of a problem.

Will we win? It's not for us to decide...

But we've got a great chance. The defense will have things under control if we can stop the run (which I'm expecting us to). But on offense, we absolutely must protect Flacco. Even without having to face Calvin Pace, Joe will only stand a chance if we keep him upright. And in the case of the line collapsing time and again, he's got to show some of that mobility he showed in 2008 and in this preseason.

But like I said, we've got a good chance.

I could actually see this being an extremely tight game, or I could see us outscoring them by a few touchdowns. If we stop their run game and force them to pass, and Dirty Sanchez is forced into mistakes that we capitalize off of with great field position, this could be an easy win. Joe is reading the field extremely well this year, and is able to indentify mismatches much quicker then past years. His decision making is accelerated which is gonna help with the jet's pass rush. I really look for Rice and the slot receivers to methodically neutralize the blitzes. My main concern is red zone scoring.

I see sanchez with 3 INTs, and I see us getting acouple sacks on him early that throw his game off. If we can get to him early, its gonna further hamper his decision making (which isnt that great already).
