Looks like cincibengals is going to get ripped in this forum.
it looks like ohoh stinko spends too much time on activities outside of football. Looks like he has lost his concentration.

I'm lurking on the Bengals message boards and they're going nuts. Its amazing how they go from being so cocky to wondering if they will even win 6 games.

I saw the title of the thread and expected a totally different tone. You are a class act and a true fan of football. I'm with you all the way. I back the Bengals 110% over the Steelers. Here's to a long healthy season.

huh? "stinko" had 12 rec. 159 yds and 1 TD not sure what planet you watch football on, but thats good by Earth's standards.

and yes, I am somewhat relishing the beating they suffered... Cincy fans and their mouths have pissed me off pretty good this offseason.

Yeah Ocho went off today. I had to do a double take at his stat line a few times. He was going against some inexperienced cornerbacks. But he did a complete 180 from preseason.

While they played...not so great it's week 1 out of 17. We lost the first game last year and managed to rebound, that is what it's going to take again this year. To answer your question about T.O. - How is he NOT better than Coles? We have a better #2 WR, #3 and a much better TE. While I am not happy at all with the performance, they have a chance to rebound next weekend. I can guarantee an angry Bengals team will come out at home next weekend. While it may not be enough, I hope it will be. I don't post on the Bengals forum much, nothin but a bunch of whiners that consider themselves "fans". Lets face it, when any team wins their fans get cocky, that's just the way things go. I can assure you, Bengals fans aren't the ONLY ones running their mouths. I'm pretty sure there's some Ravens fans that are the same way when things are going well, matter of fact I know it's true because I've seen it, however I respect you guys more than anyone other team in the division. The season isn't over after week 1, if were going to lose I'd rather get it out of the way now. Ocho had a HUGE game today - why? Because of the other WR's around him. That wouldn't happen last year. Anyways, good luck against the Jets "tonight."

Yeah, anyone that was talking trash in this thread should have waited until after we play the Jets.
The Bengals got trashed early in the game against the Pats, just like we did to the Pats last year, but the Bengals came back, and made it a game.
They have some rust to shake off, as all teams do.

If our offense clicks in week 1 I'll be shocked, and might worry that it's too early, and expect a fall off. We have a lot of new players that need to gel with this team.

Aside from the question, can T.O and Chad exist together, I would question if Marvin Lewis is cut out to be a head coach.
Yeah, I said it.

But I wouldn't count out the Bengals just yet.
Let's play a game first.

People can count them out, whenever they have a chip on their shoulder they come out playing. You can think next week is an easy win, but I don't think it will be. To be honest, I've never been a big Marvin Lewis fan, I wouldn't be sad to get someone else, to start in a new direction. If the Bengals fall apart (Which I surely hope they don't), I believe he won't be the head coach next year, that's just my opinion. But as far as people thinking they'll be an easy win and Palmer is washed up, I guess they'll just have to wait and see, I know what this team is capable of. I almost prefer them being doubted, they tend to play A LOT better.

the Bengals are the team to beat in the division... basically just like Sugar said, you can't crown a team before they've done anything, even if its your own team. The Bengals swept the division last year, so again, they're the team to beat til that's proven otherwise.

Cinci_9.. you're a class act, stick around a while.. I'm sure we'll have a little more to talk about next week ;)

If we lose next week, I might be hiding, LOL... ;)
If were going to lose to any division rival, I'd prefer it being the Ravens because I do like them more so any other team in the division, however they are the biggest threat too, well I think. I'm glad to be here, as long as I don't get chased out of here, I should be around, lol.

Is this your analysis of the game???? What about strategy. Why do you think he was able to catch all those balls (in the second half) when he couldn't in the first half.

If you watched the game you would have noticed that all those yards came in the second half after the Pats had a big lead and allowed Stinko to catch the ball.
Its called pre-vent de-fense. Let them catch the ball but slow down their scoring and take time off the clock. I helps to keep your players healthy when there is no threat of being beat.

If you go the the nfl web site and check the stats of the game you will see what I mean. The Pats had Cinci number the whole game.

Cinci played like they were on a T.O-no reality show. Cinci's defense did not show up and their offense could not stand up to a good defense.
