Okay I forgot one lol.

Let's just say their expectations are more realistic. ;)

They should be enthralled that they managed to reach 0-0 up to this point.

Ive seen so many guys saying that Steelers wont be a factor this year because of this and that. A franchise with that winner-mentality and defense is never to be ruled out. I do believe that Ravens will have the upperhand this year but do not rule out the Steelers just yet.
Agreed. Mike Tomlin is a good coach, Troy Polamalu is back, and Roethlisberger is still playing in 12 games. The Steelers may look vulnerable but we all know how valuable the underdog mentality is, hell, we rode it to a SuperBowl.

People say stuff just to be different. It wouldn't be interesting to read if he said the Colts, or the Packers or the Saints because that wouldn't be an interesting pick. But it's not really an intelligent choice in my opinion. They need to have a perfect second half of the season. We will see how it turns out.

Edit: Which is why Skip Bayless says crazy stuff like he would rather have the three cowboys running backs over AP or Lebron James isn't that good. People say stuff to make tv interesting and fun for people to watch. Negative or positive

right, any prediction not having the ravens winning it all is bogus.

I apologize <why the smack?> Let me clarify.

A sports writer has no more ability to predict the seasons outcome than an arm chair fan. They just happen to get paid for it. I would not take their prediction to heart, were it for my preferred team or against.

Don't take it personal. Though I quoted your post, I was more directing my comment at the thread.

That's ridiculous. N.E. has NO defense what-so-ever.

I agree, they were in the bottom half of the league. But the Saints D wasn't any better in '09, they were even worse. Maybe the writer was banking on Brady, Moss, and Welker doing an '07-repeat?

That would require a loss in the end. *snicker*

Pssh, I'm fine with that.

Your hatred of the Pats is well-documented

You clearly live in a cave.

The above type of statement was just a misinformed annoyance last year, but considering that half of the analysts out there are picking the Ravens to go to the Super Bowl this season, it's now idiotic.
Wow...flame on huh? short on coffee? You can not tell me the Ravens are appraised the same as the Patriots or Steelers, be that as it may the comment was light hearted, your heuristic comment was unnecessary my purple brother.

That would require the Cowboys to win in the playoffs. Ain't happening this year. Packers, Saints maybe, not the cryboys.
