Gaither is RT? Does this mean he is healthy and ready to go? And Cousins isn't the backup at RT?
well Gaither, along with Cody and Stallworth didn't practice today so I am guessing they resting him as much as possible.Hope he gets a few practices in to shake off some rust possibly

I could be wrong but I don't think the depth chart is an indication of whether a player will start or not. I think it's more about when the team is fully healthy, who are the starters (minus the PUPs). I think we would have heard if Gaither was going to start on Monday. No idea about Cousins though.

Is anyone else a little surprised to see Chris Carr ahead of Josh Wilson at left CB? Wilson seems more suited to the outside to me.

i think Carr made some strides at the end of last season, but I still see Wilson getting put in if Carr doesn't get it done and taking the Starting job

The Dolphins just cut Joe Reitz, could see him make it back to our practice squad. He knows our schemes, has been with the team for a while.

we just filled our last PS slot earlier today,of course doesn't mean we can't cut one of them if the Ravens feel there is a better option

Yeah, I recall him playing well in the post-season, but I am still surprised that Wilson isn't ahead considering his starting role in Seattle. I suppose Carr's experience in the system was also a huge factor in the decision.

didn't really hit me that Barnes was gone til after looking over the depth chart... It's frustrating that Kruger is buried on the depth chart after using a 2nd round pick on him, Kindle's accident, and Barnes being traded... that really dampens our pass rush, but we'll see what happens... Adalius Thomas is rumored to sign with the Jets after week 1... Although I don't know what he has left in the tank, I thought it would be an Ozzie-type move to bring a guy back like AD who has been here before after going so long unsigned

Only one day away til the season opener... cant wait!!

Yep, just because its set, doesn't mean they can't tweak it. I think they would rather have Reitz on the PS then one of the other guys. But this is a personal opinion.

Marshal Yanda is preparing to play right tackle Monday just in case, he says

They will be overloading that right side. Expect to see a lot of runs behind Oher and Grubbs. We'll need to keep the defense honest, to buy a little time for Joe to throw.

But I actually feel more comfortable with Yanda out there than Cousins. I feel the Jets would get into Cousins head and make things much worse. Call me crazy.

Listening to the John Harbaugh show this week, from the sounds of things, Wilson will be playing on the outside.

I agree, Yanda is a better tackle than Cousins, but hes not a better tackle than Gaither. We want to keep some sort of continuity on the line.

I agree because I definitely thought that Wilson was starting instead of Carr. I mean Carr has shown growth in TC and in the PS but rrr umm I think I would have went with Wilson not unless Wilson is trying to still familiarize himself with our system.

Kruger below Pryce? Come on! The rest of the chart looks pretty good, Zibby is going to be a beast this year.
pryce is right where he should be

think like someone said the depth chart is for when the team is healthy
yeah, that makes sense. otherwise itd be altered by the minute depending on health statuses.
