I admire your positive attitude-you have us as having the edge over everyone-I'm saying the league has almost total parody right now and every game will be a toss up. We will not be a dominating team-we will need a lot of luck on both sides of the ball to have a winning season and get to the playoffs.

Dude...come on. You come on here with your constantly negative attitude, misspelling names of Ravens players like "Boldin" and words like "parity," saying that we need a lot of luck on both sides of the ball to merely have a winning season. How can anyone take you seriously? I'm sorry, it's just hard for me to believe that you're a Ravens fan. Someone looking at your post history would probably think you were a troll. We all know it's gonna be tough, but we think we have a really good team, one of the best in franchise history. Sorry if that upsets you for whatever reason.

I just don't get it...how can a "fan" be so negative? I personally don't think they can be. To be a fan, you have to believe in your team, which he quite obviously doesn't. This may be the most talented Ravens squad since 2000 and the most balanced Ravens squad ever. This is the first time (imo) we've looked good enough on paper to be a top 5 offense. People seem to forget that we've almost always relied on our defense to take us any where. Even if the defense struggles this year, our offense has the potential to carry the defense...how unbelievable is that? I say this team will go 10-6 at worst due to early road games and a tough overall schedule.

But hey, I'm just a fan.

Last night I had a dream it was Monday night! The Ravens offense was on the field but for whatever reason the O-line could never give Joe enough time to find open targets. I kept screaming just get rid of it, get rid of it. When he did throw it the WR was out of position by about 3 yards.
Really, I think that sums up the majority of issues we had on offense last year. But you have to believe Joe has gotten better, our receiving corps. has gotten better, and our coaching staff knows our problems more than any other team. The thing I'm most worried about Monday night, is possible injuries and our newest acquisitions (Wilson & T.J) not being in rhythm with their new team. Whether we win or lose, we'll be in fine shape as long as Flacco finishes the game healthy.

I said 7-9 worst case scenario if we get hit with the injury bug. We have enough depth to manage the storm. But it could always happen. A few injuries and a few losses in close games, it's possible. Once again football is a funny game.

I never thought we would go 5-11 a few years back.
Injuries are inevitable, but every team will suffer them. Why would we suffer them more? And as you said, we have depth. We can afford a few injuries and still maintain our strength. Then there is the fact that we already have a number of our better players out due to injury, so as the season progresses we will actually be getting stronger as those players rejoin our roster. Certainly some oddball calamity could strike the team, that could happen to anyone. All things being equal, this team has the greater potential to go very far.

First let me say that I dream all the time and they are very real and some times they actually come true

Last night I had a dream it was Monday night! The Ravens offense was on the field but for whatever reason the O-line could never give Joe enough time to find open targets. I kept screaming just get rid of it, get rid of it. When he did throw it the WR was out of position by about 3 yards.

Could the new additions like TJ won't mesh well in this first game and the injury at RT won't give Joe enough time to let the routes develop.

It's just a dream...the exact opposite could happen, the Ravens offense could score tons of points. Maybe I'm just worried about getting that WIN!
I had a very similar dream... Basically it was the Ravens losing and i was just like broken because of all the time i have waited to watch them and we got blown out... Buttttttt my dreams NEVER COME TRUE like literally i have never had a dream come true LOL so i think we are good and were going to RUN OVER THE JETS AND MAKE REX RYAN CRY :)

To the people against Ravenite, I think he's a fan. In my opinion, a fan is someone who loves their team, constantly follows and keeps up with to their team and knows a lot about their team. Fans don't always believe in their team or have confidence in their team, that's not what determines whether or not you are a fan imo.

I'm with you guys, I have no idea why Ravenite keeps up the constant negativity. And most of it's unnecessary. But that doesn't mean he isn't a fan..at least imo.

I know I'm gonna get killed for posting this. But it's my humble opinion that people don't have to believe in their team in order to be a fan. You just have to love your team. There is a difference.
