Ravens Game Premonition?

75 posts in this topic

First let me say that I dream all the time and they are very real and some times they actually come true

Last night I had a dream it was Monday night! The Ravens offense was on the field but for whatever reason the O-line could never give Joe enough time to find open targets. I kept screaming just get rid of it, get rid of it. When he did throw it the WR was out of position by about 3 yards.

Could the new additions like TJ won't mesh well in this first game and the injury at RT won't give Joe enough time to let the routes develop.

It's just a dream...the exact opposite could happen, the Ravens offense could score tons of points. Maybe I'm just worried about getting that WIN!

Maybe, I wasn't even thinking of the game though. Dreams are random most of the time, or they are from your subconscious.

I can't wait for the season that's what it is, I'm so ready for Ravens football I watch them play in my sleep.

Especially with how doo doo our pass protection has been.
Three keys to winning Monday:

Giving Mr. Flacman the pass protection, and time in the pocket to allow the play to develop because we all know Rex is going to blitz all night.

Our run game, screens, and play action can gash the defense to make them lighten up on the blitz.

Our secondary can cover the WR's long enough to allow our LB's and D line to make a play on Sanchez.

I think that's very much a possibility of what could happen Monday night.
The best part is, the Ravens could still find a way to win, even if that possibility came true. John Harbaugh knows how to rally his guys under times of adversity. We've seen that as the case more often than not.

Oh yeah, most definitely! To add to your post, if we're able to do the same thing to Sanchez as their D does to Flacco and that happens all night, the game might come down to a special teams play or whoever makes the least amount of mistakes on offense (turnovers more specifically).

I had a dream too. Rex Ryan was the Jets' quarterback and he was wearing a diaper. As he faded back to pass and the rush came the diaper fell off. BUT, HE JUST KEPT SCRAMBLING FOR HIS LIFE.
Like Schrock, the doctor said everything is OK. Next time, put your arm around your favorite stuffed animal, take two aspirin, and call Ray, Ray in the morning.
Gooooooo Ravens!!!

Better interpretation Juggernaut, next time I'll set up an appointment with you, because, after all, you have better nurses' aides.

Here comes Mr. Negative-Remember the Jets probably have the best over all defense in the AFC-even with Revis rusty he is still pretty darn good-I didn't see much magic between flacco and bouldin in preseason and now that we have no deep threat that will play right into the jets strengths. I think your dreams is unfortunately closer to reality and I have to predict a jets defensive domination-17 to 6 Jets. Sorry everyone-I LOVE THE RAVENS!

Well, that's fine because we have a WR by the name of Boldin and he'll do just fine. Not sure who this Bouldin guy is....

Well, I just had a dream like Independence Day / War of the Worlds. If that happens, football will be the least of our worries.

Well, I didn't see any magic between Flacco and Bouldin either. But Flacco and Boldin looked pretty good.

It's cool that the Jets have defense. But, doesn't it take offense to win games in a league that's geared more and more towards offense? The Ravens offense may have question marks in the eyes of some fans, but shouldn't people be questioning Mark Sanchez and his 20 interceptions in 2009? Especially against a defense that is all about keeping teams out of the endzone even if they happen to give up some yards?

Yeah, and IMO their offense will implode by the hands of Dirty S!

I don't know why, but I have a horrible feeling about this game and season. I think most of it has to do with our D. They are usually so good, but I just don't know this year. We lost rex, and bart and Ray's getting older. Damn I'm scared!

Last year we didn't have Rex or Bart, or Fabian, Ngata got hurt, Reed was banged up, Suggs was overweight, and Buddy Lee was coming back from knee surgery. We had Carr and Walker occupying the 2nd CB spot after Webb got hurt and we had a carousel at the other inside LB position. The defense finished 3rd overall. We will be fine.

Well I'm not sure about that-consider the 2000 Ravens-they had an anemic offense and just had Dilfer making minimal mistakes-we went to and won the superbowl on the back of our defense. I think the jets will use much them same philosophy this year and therefore be a force to be reckoned with. I am standing by my low scoring prediction!

Funny, I had a dream as well....but in my dream Sanchez wet himself after Ray's 3rd sack and our 5th interception. Bart Scot missed Ray Rice resulting in two TDs, Rex chocked on a hotdog (he was ok though) and Boldin knocked Revis out.....dreams just crazy huh?!

LOL lighten up frances, it will all be just fine! :ICONATOR_01040da29c18a4eed76047

That was 10 years ago. That would not happen in todays NFL. There werent 7 or 8 guys throwing for 4000 yards like we have now.
