How Ozzie Will Wrok The Free Agency

considering the lack of talent in this years Free Agency and the lack of funds on our part i expect ozzie and his staff to look around but let the players they are interested in sit a lil bit. and what i mean by that is the longer a free agent is unsigned the cheaper we will be able to get him for. Not to many players want to wait several weeks b4 being signed. Think about if you were a free agent looking for millions of dollars and after several weeks of no teams willing to sign you. ME, personally, i would jump on any contract that comes my way because i would hate to have blown my chance in the nfl.

so look for us to shop around after a couple of weeks. Let other teams price them out so we dont underpay or overpay on a player.

There are 31 other teams out there that have different needs in free agency. its not like we are competeing with all 31 for specific positions. We will only be "bidding" for certain players between a handful of teams.

The idea is to let other teams spend their available cap signing free agents and resigning their own players so if we happen to be in competition with that team for a lets say bryant johnson for example they will be limited on how much they can offer and we will have the upper hand. Keep a look out for these key posistions:

linemen, cb's, wr's, lb's. and out of those positions there are only several players worth even looking at twice. Not a big crop this year
