I found this video while browsing NFL Videos. Man I hope he gets back soon and returns to form. Enjoy!

Interesting choice for who talks about Reed but 88 is a good choice depending on who is ahead of him though than his ranking should or shouldn't be better.

This video rocks! After watching this, I hope we can win SB this year for Ed Reed, man. He deserves to win one as the best safety in the history. This year is for our probowl veterans on our team.

I watched this on the NFL Network tonight, and I disagree. Of course I'm bias when it comes to Raven players, but it's Ed Reed! He should be better than 88 out of 100. The man isn't even done playing.

In 20 years when players are talking about the legend of Ray Ray and Ed Reed, some little Pittsburgh kid is gonna chime in "Hines Ward should be in the HOF one day..." and everyone will ask..

"Who is Hines Ward?"

Do you know who they have ahead of him?

88th out of the thousands upon thousands of players that have come and gone from the NFL is pretty damn special. To put it in perspective, ~260 guys are in the NFL hall of fame, Ed's already beaten most of them on this list.

Exactly. I love Ed Reed and he definitely deserves his place among the greatest players of all time, but there's definitely a large number of players ahead of him who've made greater contributions to the game, whether it's by innovation or simply by their career performance at their respective position. Keep in mind, this is also #88 out of 90 years of professional football played in the various leagues that would eventually form the NFL we know today. Thousands of players have entered the league, and to be ranked 88 out of those thousands is remarkable.

I saw this last night and I wondered if they even thought for a second about who they had chosen to narrate. That's a "C'mon, man!" moment.

Talking about Batman & Robin simulation, Chad and TO wanted to be part of it.

A better nickname for them would be "Dumb & Dumber".

Not to get technical, but Hines Ward didn't narrate the video, he provided commentary; there's a difference. (Yes, I know, this isn't the place to be nitpicky about jargon...)

But speaking of narration, I wish they would've done it more documentary-style like America's Game, where they have a celebrity narrator with a great voice and then cut to occasional commentary and soundbytes from other players to support the narration.

Ed is one of my favourite players to be mic'd up. He has so much fun on the fleid that it's completely contagious and makes me want to be out playing ball myself. He's fully deserving of his place on the list.

I always love that clip. There's actually longer version of it that was shown when Steve Sabol interviewed Ed. He was close to blocking a punt on the play and after missing it, he took off back down the field and after around 30 yards, destroyed the Colts player.

Alec Baldwin did an amazing job, narrating the Ravens' episode of America's Game.

Or they could just hire me instead. I'd do it for free. I'll even record another take with more enthusiasm than is appropriate for a documentary or news piece. ;)

Yeah, that's one of the most memorable clips of Ed Reed's career. If I remember correctly, he was held as he rushed the punter and took his frustration out on the Colts player.

I don't remember him being blatantly held but during his spin move, he might have been held a little.

I don't know who else playing defense currently is rated above him... but at the present time he is definitely the Peyton Manning of defense! If Ray were younger maybe the second best defensive player in the NFL! For now though, I will take him as the 88th best player all time!
