I've found that these Old Spice commercials are hit-or-miss for some people, which is the inherent nature of absurdist humor -- you either get it or you don't, there's really no in-between.

On a side note, I thought the bubbles were a little strange. I think it would've been better if he had his uniform on underneath the bubbles, just to make it even more ridiculous.

You're right, him coming out of the shower in full uniform and helmet with soap suds (he could take it off and put it on a hat rack so you knew who he was) would have been GENIUS. Its no stranger than a giant space raven...

was looking thru the latest espn magazine and they had a picture from the commercial,he was covered in bubbles but you could see some of his jersey and I said to my girl "Where is his commercial",then I come on today and see this...sweet
