Pick 2 WRs and a Flex:

WR Steve Johnson vs DET
WR Mike Sims-Walker vs HOU
WR Brandon Marsall vs TEN
WR Randy Moss vs MIA
RB LeGarrette Blount vs CAR

Right now, I'm leaning on Johnson and Sims-Walker, with Blount at the flex. I don't trust Moss in his first game with the Titans, and the former two receivers have better matchups than Marshall, who I'm not sure is a must start every week anymore. Thoughts?

Thanks.

MSW against the horrible pass D of Houston. He should stay Red Hot. And I'd put Moss in there. With an extra week to prepare, I think they get him the ball. Play with their new toy a bit. We saw Minny do the same thing when they got their hands back on him.

And I would go with Blount in the run game. Should get a very healthy dose of touches against the Carolina. No worries about Carolina running away with the score.

All three of those guys are PPR studs. But I'd go with Steve Smith vs the Cowboys at home.

I'd go with Amendola for the first league and Hartline for the second. Pennington is going to start this week. Not that that is my reason, just saying in case you didn't hear :)

Thanks. I actually don't have to worry about who to start in the PPR league now that I've picked up Mike Goodson. He can't be as unproductive as Stewart was.

The two receivers I'd go with are Sims-Walker and Marshall. I know that he hasn't done much lately, I just feel that Pennington might do a better job then Henne getting the ball to the Miami receivers. Moss, yeah, I'm with you, I don't trust him this week. I'm interested in seeing how he gels (or not) with the Titans offense.

Flex, go with Blount.

Yep, I agree. Can you believe I picked him up in free agency in 1 or 2 of my leagues?

I was like whaaaaat.

One would think. Prepare to burn! Actually its such a nice matchup. I can see the scenario where Goodson runs crazy on Tampa. Then all their fans think he's the best back they've got.

I'd go with Danny Blair White. No Collie, No Gonzales. Since it is a non-ppr league. And Gooden in the other.

That's pretty nice.

I cut J-Stew loose in my 12 team money league for a backup QB. No more J-Stew frustration for me!

Carson Palmer or David Garrard?
[/quote]

That's kind of tough for me. Palmer and company are playing Indy and Garrard and company are playing Houston. Palmer is more consistent than Garrard though.

I think it's a toss up.

I have these 5 WRs in one of my teams and need to start 3.

J. Jones, S. Johnson, M. Manningham, A. Armstrong, and M. Austin

I currently have Jones, Manningham, and Armstrong in the starting lineup after taking out Johnson and Austin. Those 3 are probably who I'm going with. What does everyone think? PuRock, what do you think?

Also, on the same team, McNabb is still available as a free agent now. I currently have Cutler and Orton, with Orton in the starting spot now. I'm going to go ahead and pick up McNabb and drop Cutler. So the other question is, who do you guys think I should start, Orton or McNabb. I feel McNabb should start.

I think any QB who plays the Texans should be given a start. Saying their secondary is bad would be an understatement.
Plus Garrard has shown he can dominate against bad defenses.

Garrard, Houston is a horrible defense. Garrard is on fire right now. Ride the coat tails.

On another team, I have Ray Rice, Marshawn Lynch, and I just picked up Mike Goodson. Goodson is starting for the Panthers with the others all with injuries. Plus, they're playing the Bucs, who give up a lot of rushing yards a game.

I'm itching to do a trade, I've been piecing together RBs all season. I'm still 7-2 in that one though lol

Anyway, I'm sure everyone would agree to give Goodson a chance over Lynch?

Why did you take Steve Johnson and Miles Austin out?

I'd go with Miles Austin with the hopes that Garrett gets these guys to start playing (at least for one game - lets start there). Even against the Giants, you'd have to figure they will be down and have to throw. Divisional games are always tough no matter how bad one team is.

Then I'd go with Steve Johnson. Detroit likes to get into high scoring affairs. I expect it to be one in the battle of the bottom.

I like Manningham as the third guy. He's playing very consistent and picking up TDs. Jacoby Jones can't be trusted with Foster running the show and Anthony Armstrong might struggle in this game. First time they met he had one catch for 57 yards. Plus McNabb is banged up, Philly's defense is playing good. I just don't like the matchup.

Well I just moved them to the bench for this week. I can always put them back :)

This is hard I think. You never know who will perform well and who will lay an egg.

That's why you have to play the safest guys here.

Austin is a #1 WR on a team. Jacoby, Manningham are #3s and Armstrong and Johnson are #2s.

Austin is a stud with a top QB. You still have to have faith in him over your other receivers cause he's still the safest pick. Johnson is the Willis McGahee of Receivers. He hoards Tds. Plus Roscoe Parrish is out for the year which might pad Johnson's stats some more.

Jacoby Jones, Manningham and Armstrong are feast or famine players. You just don't know when they'll have good games or put up goose eggs.

Man, the Giants aren't even going to give Kitna a chance to throw LOL He'll be sacked more times than his number of completions LOL

Probably but the Cowboys did put up 35 points on the Giants in Week 7 and Kitna threw for 2 TDs. Austin didn't have the best game. But I have to believe that with Garrett as the new coach, the team should respond.

First off welcome back Shaun Hill.

Tom Brady (@PIT) or Hill (@BUF)

Tom Brady is dealing with a sprained foot going against the very stout defense of Pitt. or Hill with the favorable matchup and weapons.

Normally, I'd say don't bench your studs but Brady hasn't been a stud this year. In fact, his statistics aren't much better than Matt Ryan's.

I'd go with Hill. He seemingly always plays well off the bench and has a sweet match-up as you acknowledged.

Damn. Hill is still healthy? I saw he was available earlier, and passed on him because I was under the impression he was out for the year.

I could have really used him too, since I do in fact have Brady as my QB.... :34853_doh:

Yep. Stafford was playing long enough to get Hill healthy. He was questionable going into the week, but since the week began the Lions have pronounced him starter. He was never going to be out for the year just several weeks.

I put in a waiver claim in for him when it was thought that Stanton would be the QB.

Just checked and to my surprise, hes still available.

Doesn't feel right to bench Brady for someone like Hill, but Brady hasn't been playing too well since the departure of Moss. And he is going against the Steelers defense with really no stud WR.
