Knowshon with a bad hammy against a bad Jaguars run D, or Caddy against the Browns?
I read somehwere that Knowshon should be good. Even with a sore hammy I would go with Knowshon.

Do you think Santana Moss could get some good numbers Sunday night? He is the only good wr starting the game old man Galloway is also starting. McNabb will probably feel more comfortable with him. I think Moss will get some good looks and get some down field shots, but I'm not sure to start him or not.
McNabb is coming off of a sore ankle, and actually was in doubt last week to even play. The Cowboys will be down the Redskins' throat with their pass rush since their offensive line is really bad. McNabb will hardly have time to throw, and even with this, it's not like Dallas has nobodies for DB's. I find it hard to believe that Santana will have a productive game. He'll have a couple long bombs tossed his way, but I'd be much more comfortable starting Steve Smith this week. I think that Shanny will want to try to run a lot. The only thing that will keep the Redskins in this game is the fact that their defense (especially the secondary) is good.

But listen to your heart. I am no professional lol.

What you said makes sense. Right now I'm leaning towards B. Marshall & Steve Smith at wr with Arian Foster and Michael Turner at rb. My opponent will be tough to beat this week. He has Knowshon Moreno and Ryan Mathews at rb and Rodney White and Marques Colston at wr.

I really like Marshall and especially Smith against a weak Carolina D. I'm starting Hakeem Nicks as well. I think Turner will really test the Steelers D, and I think that they'll start hot which will allow Turner to eat up time in the third and the fourth.

Don't be worried about Knowshon. I still might start him, but he'll be rotated with Buckhalter which will hurt his stock at least for the first week. I also think that the San Diego and KC game will be a lot closer than people think. Mathews will get a lot of touches, but it's just up to the better running team to control the TOP.

Marques Colston won't have that great of a game. The Vikes will keep him check. But Roddy White, watch out lol. But all in all, I think you're set.

I have a few:

Owen Daniels (coming off a torn ACL) (vs. IND) or Dustin Keller?

Hakeem Nicks (vs. CAR), Johnny Knox (vs. DET) or Percy Harvin (vs. NO)?

I'm torn on these so much haha

Ok I'll probably be going back & fourth on this all the way to Sunday but in a Yahoo league I have pretty good starters and depth at WR & RB so I'm unsure of who to start.

Here's My WRs(start 3, current starters in bold)

- Calvin Johnson(vs CHI)
- Marques Colston(vs MIN)
- Malcolm Floyd(vs KC)
- Devery Henderson(vs MIN)
- Hines Ward(vs Falcons)

My Rbs(start 2, current starters in bold)

- Adrian Peterson(vs NO)
- DeAngelo Williams (vs NYG)
- Pierre Thomas(vs MIN)
- Marion Barber(vs WAS)

Now you would think I would just go with AP and Williams but Williams is the one I'm unsure of, like I think Thomas could have a decent night against the Vikings and I'm also thinking Barber could have a good night against the Redskins. Any advice?

For IDP: Should I start Randy Starks(vs BUF) or Richard Seymour(vs TEN) for my DL?

Also should I consider Benching the Ravens Defense?

Harvin. But it's damn close between him and Maclin.

If M Bush doesn't play, I'd actually go with McFadden. He'll get 20+ touches. Greene will be stuffed by our run D, Best isn't a bad option, but I feel like the Lions fall behind early to the Bears in Chicago. If Bush does play, then its Best. But when it comes down to it, I'd probably just start Best.

Rodgers. Easiest one. Philly vs GB sounds like a shoot out matchup to me.

I didn't realize it til after you responded, but Cutler is at home against Detroit... you still go with Rodgers in philly?

Hey guys I need a little advice for this week. I am in a ESPN league.

RB - Michael Turner (vs Pittsburgh) Arian Foster (vs Indy) Jonathan Stewart (vs Giants) Ahmad Bradshaw (vs Carolina) I need 2.

WR - Brandon Marshall (vs Bills) Santana Moss (vs Cowboys) Steve Smith NYG (vs Carolina) Mike Wallace (vs Atlanta) Johnny Knox (vs Detroit) I need 2.
Michael Turner and Arian Foster. Foster against a historically weak Indy Run Defense. Start Turner when he's 100 percent. Should tear it up, even against Pittsburgh.

Brandon Marshall and Steve Smith. Is this a ppr league? If so definitely Steve Smith. Bills have a decent corner that will be on Marshall, but I'm sure they will want to get him the ball.

I'm going with Caddy against the Browns. I love the injury proned stud guys at the beginning of the season. Caddy should have a big game while they still work Huggins into the mix.

I find it funny how everybody talks about the lack of RB depth in Tampa. That Kareem is still very unexperienced. They still have Earnest Graham. He is 30 now and has been converted to a FB. But always keep an eye on him.

Dustin Keller. He should get a lot of attention when we are breathing down Sanchez's neck. Guys coming off injuries, I always like to give them a buffer zone to see how they are coming back.

Nicks. Harvin is a close second. Forget Johnny Knox for right now. Let's wait and see how that Bears offense has evolved. Giants should pass nicely in this game and Nicks could rack up a couple deep passes.

Rodgers IMO, is a must start in almost everygame this season (or until proven otherwise). He is arguably the #1 fantasy QB in the league. He'll be going against a team that likes to pass as well. We could see 4 TDs from him.

Cutler & the Bears O has looked very bad in preseason. Even if it is the Bears. They could struggle to get going.

In Rodgers I trust.

Your fine with your picks for RB and WR. I wouldn't start Thomas over DeAngelo. But now that I've said that, Thomas will go off tonight.

I wouldn't bench the Ravens D. Two top defenses makes for a low scoring game. You hedge your losses right there. Throw in Sanchez into the mix, and you have a good shot at an INT or two. In the preseason game last year, Ngata did pick off Sanchez for a Pick 6.

Fred Jackson against Miami or Chris Chambers against San Diego.
As a flex.....hmmmm. If it is a ppr league. I'd go Chambers. They Cheifs should fall behind the Chargers early. That means the ball will be passed a lot. Plus with the new Weis system, Chambers could get some decent reception stats.

My big issue with Keller is I don't want to have to route for him in any way shape or form haha. So conflicted.

RB/WR, WR, and WR spots.

I am having a real tough time making these decisions.

Current Starters

RB/WR: Johnny Knox
WR: Wes Welker
WR: MIchael Crabtree

Bench:
Brandon Jacobs (most likely not going to get much playtime over bradshaw)
Mike Sims-Walker (playing Broncos who are supposed to have a nice pass defense this year)
Laurent Robinson (who knows how Bradford will perform)
Mike Williams (TB) (i am leaning towards MW of TB because they play the browns)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

the more i think about it, i am questioning my idea in benching Sims-Walker week 1 cause they play the broncos. You think i should move him up as well?

Really need some solid advice here pls. :)

Wes and Crabtree are fine. I'd probably start MSW over Knox for the mere fact that MJD is at his first game back. They might go easy on their workhorse and try and air it out. I'm not a big fan of Knox to start the season because the Bears O and Cutler have looked poor. Knox relies upon the big play. If he doesn't get it, he'll leave you with a goose egg.

thanks for the tip PuRock! As always, much appreciated. Yea-i was questioning sitting Sims-Walker week 1 but bronco's have a good pass D

Actually I take back what I said. MSW will have to go against Champ. I'm unsure about MSW as a #1 guy and he'll be facing a top quality CB. This game is in Jacksonville, so it could help MSW a bit. But go with Mike Williams, ha!

Geez the guy I'm playing tonight in my money league has Drew Brees, Robert Meachem, Bernard Berrian and Ryan Longwell all starting tonight. I have 0.

It's either going to be a long 3 days or a very joyous 3 days after tonight.

I went a bit overboard on Receivers in my TD league.

I can't decide which 3 to play between:

Greg Jennings
Chad Ochocinco
Steve Breaston
Owen Daniels
Visanthe Shiancoe
Antonio Gates
Kenny Britt
Chris Cooley

(TEs are counted as Receivers in the league.)

Jennings, Gates and....and.....and.....Ochocinco.

First two easy, third guy was the tough one. Britt might not play wk 1 I heard, Cooley and Daniels are coming back from an injurie and could come back lightly, Shiancoe is a TD beast but not better than Ocho. That leaves Breaston and Ocho. Breaston is going against the Rams. But I'll take Ocho.

Cheers.

I'll be looking at the matchups and asking the same thing every week

It'll be worse whenever Sidney Rice comes back from hip surgery.

Well I changed my mind about MSW completely. Seriously. Totally forgot he'll be lining up against Bailey. I have questions regarding MSW in the #1 role in the first place.

Knox relies upon the big play. And the Bears O has sputtered this offseason. So I don't really trust Knox yet this season. And if the Bears go up early, his chances of getting this big play dies down.

I'd prefer to wait to see what Mike Williams can do in the regular season, but he is going against the Browns. It could be a nice coming out party for him.

This is a tough decision. I'd like to start MSW because he's the pure #1, But my gut says give Mike Williams a shot.
