Need to figure out RB2 and flex.

Comes down to:

RB Fred Jackson vs. KC
RB LeGarrette Blount vs. ARI
WR Santonio Holmes vs. GB (NYJ coming off bye)
WR Steve Johnson vs. KC

Thanks
I'd go with Jackson. With Fitzpatrick playing so well, KC will have to game plan for him which should open up the run game a bit. We aren't quite sure what to expect out of Tampa Bay. Let's not forget that Blount was inactive only two games ago. Need to see him consistently getting touches, before I would trust using him

Flex, I'd go with Holmes. He should be up to speed coming off the bye and he'll have a big game soon. Jets are playing at home. I like Holmes. But Steve Johnson is a close second.

Another week, roughly the same group of sad sacks.

Standard league:

Danario Alexander (vs. CAR), Anthony Armstrong (vs. DET), James Jones (vs. NYJ), Danny Amendola (vs. CAR), Deon Butler (vs. OAK), [s]Devery Henderson (vs. PIT)[/s]

PPR league:

Anthony Armstrong (vs. DET), David Gettis (vs. STL), Lee Evans (vs. KC), Brian Hartline (vs. CIN)
Can anyone help me out?

Anyone buying into Owen Daniels yet?... he's gotten better as the season has rolled along, looks like he's finally healthy coming off a bye week in an explosive offense... Go with him or Pettigrew?

how many do you need? two from each?..

I'd probably go with Armstrong and Butler in the standard league and Armstrong and Evans in the PPR... its tough to sit any starting WR playing Detroit and I feel like you have to play the hot hands with Butler and Evans. NE moves their receivers around too much w/o Moss to be worried about Aso on Butler IMO

Qb-Ryan Fitzpatrick, [s]Jon Kitna[/s]
RB-Jamaal Charles
Rb-Marshawn Lynch, Ronnie Brown, Donald Brown
Flex-Mike Williams(sea)
WR-Reggie Wayne
WR-Greg Jennings, Lee Evans
Te-Antonio Gates

Can't decide who to start out of the guys in Bold.

For the Non-PPR, I'd probably go with Armstrong and Amendola. Alexander is still a huge variable at the moment, and I don't know how Jones will fare against the Jets defense.

In the PPR,
I'd definitely go with Lee Evans (even if he doesn't get as many receptions, he can get some nasty yards after the catch), and probably stick with Armstrong again. Who knows how much a healthy (granted if he is) Steve Smith will impact Gettis' looks. As for Hartline, he seems too on-and-off to me to start over Evans or even Armstrong.

Thanks for the help guys. I forgot to mention I've got Miles Austin locked in as my WR1 in both leagues(even though he's looking like my WR1 more by default now than actual production).

Other than Witten (and the running backs, of course) Austin may be the only Dallas offensive player I trust with Romo out. Witten and Austin should make for decent security blankets for Kitna.

I still have to go with Anthony Armstrong in the non ppr league. Alexander still hasn't shown consistency, Jones is very streaky, Amendola doesn't cut it in a non-ppr league. Butler's looks will be decreased this week as Mashawn will look to pound the rock.

Lee Evans In his last 4 games he has had 3 games with 5+catches. The only game he didn't was against the Jets.

Vernon Davis v Broncos in London with Troy Smith at QB or Kellen Winslow @ Cards? in a PPR league
Have to stick with Davis. Troy might actually look his way a lot. A smaller, inexperienced QB, my first guess is he hits that big TE target in the middle a lot during passing plays.

Okay, PuRock...this weeks question:

Ryan Matthews, Woodhead or Ivory

Jordan Shipley, Brandon Lloyd or Crabtree

Last week worked out okay since Shipley went off and Ivory and Woodhead both were average.

What games this week intrigue you?

I know this isn't addressed to me but I'll give my opinion for what it's worth. You actually have them in exact order in which I'd start them. You don't say how many you need to choose from (1 or 2) but if you need 1 of each, I'd go with Mathews and Shipley. If you need 2, I'd go with Woodhead and Lloyd as well.

Giving us a tough one here.

Gulp. I'd be starting Woodhead. I'd really want to start Matthews but you just can't trust the guy. Last game he only got 8 carries, plus goalline touches have been going strictly to Tolbert and on top of that they are playing a top ten rushing defense in the Titans. Ivory is out of the question against the Pittsburgh Defense, who rank 1st against the run. He'll get like 15 carries for little yardage and lose pass opportunities to Betts. So Woodhead is the last man standing. Playing a team that can get to the quarterback, so the best option in playing teams like this is screen passes, draws, etc. The man to do those is Woodhead. He's had 11 and 16 touches in the last 2 games. I look for him to play a bigger role this week.

Good call on Shipley last week, but I still can't trust him. His two biggest games where when the Bengals were on the road and way behind. This week they play Miami at home. And I wouldn't go with Crabtree, with Troy Smith starting who knows what to expect. Brandon Lloyd makes the most sense. The 49ers defense has given up 7 TDs to receivers this year. Carolina torched them for two TDs and 266 yards last week. I expect Lloyd to be worked back into the game plan.

I'd probably have Matthews sitting in there as starter. But I would be thinking very hard about switching him out for Woodhead.

PuRock, as always your analysis and opinions are welcome. Like I said the more opinions I get the more I can say but <insert name> said this player was the best one to start...lol.

Good luck to all those playing this weekend.

I have RB and Flex spot WR/RB and I don't know what to choose from my available players. If it weren't bye week for Rice and Johny Knox, I wouldn't have been such heachache.

Green Elis, Beanie Wells

B. Edwards, Davone Bess

PS: The other 2 WR, TE, DST, and K: I have C. Johnson, H. Wards, V. Davis, Seattle, and NE Kicker respectively.

I'd go with Wells for RB and Bess for the flex. Beanie I don't think is technically the starter but he's certainly getting a lot more carries than Hightower and I think that will continue.

I have a feeling Bess will put up better numbers with Chad Henne than Edwards with Sanchez. The Jets will probably run a lot more than pass.

Beanie Baby! (I stole that from CBS who has him listed as their Start of the Week). I have to go with Beanie because he is playing the Bucs who are 31st against the run. Hightower continues with his fumbling issues and Wisenhunt is pissed about it. I like Beanie to get 20+ carries this week and against the 31st ranked D, Hope he can rack up some nice stats.

Is this a ppr league or non? If it is a ppr league I'd go with Bess hands down. The guy is catching balls consistently. Teams focus on Marshall and Henne likes to dink anyways. Bess is in fantasy heaven! I expect something like 7 catches for 70 yards and a score. Even if the league was a non-ppr, I'd still go with Bess.

So it looks like Jonathan Stewart will get a whole game to himself ad D-Will is expected to be out. That throws a wrench into my decision.

RB1 - MJD
RB2 - Torain
Flex - Beanie Wells

Should I force Stewart into my lineup or should I go with what I already have? It is a ppr league.

Kitna or Brady? Usually this would be an easy decision, but Brady has been very average since Moss left in terms of fantasy numbers. Kitna is old, but he is facing the Jags with a lot of weapons.

I'd go with Brady. I think he's a more sure thing than Kitna. Kitna is very high risk IMO.

I'd start Stewart over Wells. He usually has a big day when DeAngelo is out and is facing an improved but still gash-able Rams D.

Wells just got named starter. Goodson could poach some carries from Stewart. I like Wells' match up.

Goodson has 6 carries on the season and none came last week when DeAngelo went down. If he does take touches away from Stewart, it'll be on third down as a pass-catcher. Wells has to deal with the same thing with Hightower.

Maybe it's because I drafted Stewart and want to believe he'll do something this year but I like him more than Wells.
