Hakeem Nicks with the MNF Questionable tag or Johnny Knox?
Hakeem Nicks. He'll play.

Well Pu, good call on Gates. He played and was quiet in the first half I believe but had some production in the second half. I think he put up about a dozen points?...depending on the league.

Yeah he played all game but didn't get going till the 4th. But 4 catches for 50 yards and a TD is pretty good in a week where a lot of the TEs were down (In my ppr league he put up 15). Worked out better than my other option I was weighing, Ben Watson, who had 1 catch for 18 yards.

I was really struggling with the what to dos. Glad I stuck with Gates.

I cannot wait to get Cadilac off my roster... thrilled he scored with 10 seconds left, but my goodness...
Be thankful for that! Even though he didn't get a lot of carries, he caught a lot of balls out of the backfield. 8 Catches. He is a decent option in a ppr league still.

PuRock,

Ivory netted me 4 points, Woodhead got 7 BUT I took the gamble a started Shipley and he went off.

So I won and I won't be stalking this week.

Thanks for the input though and I will probably ask again.

I don't think anybody could forsee the Saints woes in this game. They lost at home. Everybody (including I) thought they should go up and run the ball a lot in the second.

What I take from this game is that the Saints aren't very sure with Ivory in the pass blocking game. They needed to pass and Betts found himself in there a lot. Betts had 0 rushing attempts but 8 catches.

Ivory got the same number of carries he did in the prior game 15, but he just couldn't find the room. Browns defense were playing out of their minds.

It's so hard to predict these things.

Hmmmm.....that's a tough one.

Is this a ppr league? If not. I'd go with D-Will. The Panthers will look to fix the run game after the bye. They have SF traveling to the east coast for a 1 pm game. I'd have to go with D-Will.

But both Torian and Moreno have a shot of putting up great numbers as well.
Ouch. We'll I was right about Torain and Moreno putting up great numbers. But its official the Panthers run game sucks. I thought coming off a bye at home, they'd be able to do something to get their run game going. D-Will got 19 carries but did absolutely nothing with them, 44 yards. Yikes!

Rumor is he had a stomach sickness and had to take a dump real bad in the 2nd half. Sounds like a far fetched rumor.

I'd decide between Austin, Williams and Colston on a weekly basis based on match-ups.

People want to give up on Austin already. Granted he won't have the same type of production he had with Romo. But Kitna will find him.

Don't take what you saw from Kitna last night as set in stone. He rarely gets to practice with the first team, the gameplan wasn't designed for him. Give Kitna a full week's practice with the first team, lets see what he can do against the bad Jags Secondary.

But unless you have better matchups next week, I think Austin is still a go.

I'm not giving up on Austin but his lack of production the past two weeks has been frustrating. Last night was especially frustrating with two early drops(one would have gone for a TD) and the fact he was wide open several times but Kitna didn't throw to him.

*rubs hands together* Just like how I wanted it - one more bad game for Austin.

Ended up beating Romo in the ESPY league, down by 12 , I came back with a fury with Nicks and Bradshaw against his Austin.

yes miles austin has been extremely frustrating. week 6 he got me 1.2 points and this week he got me like 3.8. but then again week 5 he got me 23 points XD. wes welker has been frustrating too. as well as michael turner, but he finally broke out this week i believe, and got me 26 points.

Okay, after picking up Steven Johnson, which wide receiver should I bench for him: Mike Thomas or Dez Bryant? Right now I have Bryant sitting since Romo is out and it seems Garrard will be back this week.

I would bench Mike Thomas, especially if your league counts special teams plays.

Choose 2 from: Steve Smith - CAR (@rams), Dwayne Bowe (Buf), Jamaal Charles (Buf).

Also Schaub @Ind or Orton @SF

Ty!

i'm continuing with the tactic of picking up the best DST matchup but am struggling a little this week.

Tampa Bay @ Arizona, Carolina @ St Louis or Dallas v Jacksonville?

Jamal Charles and Dwayne Bowe. I like both matchups, infact i'd imagine Charles and Bowe being the key to the chiefs winning that game.

Mike Thomas doesn't always struggle like he did last week, especially since Bouman shouldn't be starting this week. I'm not exactly sure I can trust Bryant with Kitna under center.

You have to start Dwayne Bowe. He is hot right now and Chiefs should continue to try and get him the ball. Then I would go with Jamaal Charles. Buffalo is one of the worst teams against the runs, and the Chiefs will test that to the limit (unlike the Ravens).

I have my own opinion, yes, but I also like hearing other's opinions and advice to formulate a better idea of what to do :P

Need to figure out RB2 and flex.

Comes down to:

RB Fred Jackson vs. KC
RB LeGarrette Blount vs. ARI
WR Santonio Holmes vs. GB (NYJ coming off bye)
WR Steve Johnson vs. KC

Thanks
I'd just go with Jackson and Johnson. Maybe chance Johnson having a decent week again.
