The chargers have only allowed one deep ball thrown on them all year. And with assuming the Bills should be behind this game and forced to throw. I'm going with Steve Johnson.

Based on that then, who should i start? wes welker or marques colston?

If it's a PPR league, I'd go with Welker.

Well if the Chargers haven't been letting too many deep balls get thrown, I'd expect Welker to have a bigger day, now that the Chargers are probably game planning for both Branch and a deep ball to Tate.

The only time I have ever "loved" Colston was 5 years ago when I got him off the waiver wire when he was a rookie. Paid some nice dividends. Ever since I've never owned the guy again.

I like Colston, but he can only be so effective, fantasy wise, without getting into the endzone. Frankly, and I'm speaking as the owner of Colston in an NFL.com league, he's been a let-down so far this year. So there's really no way I could really suggest starting him over the likes of Welker.

ok so 2 questions. i picked up Big Ben this week instead of Flacco because i figured we would run the ball more over the bills than throw, good or bad move?

and you think my starters are ok this week? or should i switch some people around?
QB: Big Ben
RB: Leshaun Mccoy, Michael Turner
WR: Miles Austin, Wes Welker
TE: Aaron Hernandez
Flex: Jamaal Charles
K: Mason Crosby
D: saints

Bench: Mike Vick, Peyton Manning, Peyton Hillis, Marshawn Lynch, Mike Williams (TB), Marques Colston

People still own cadilliac Williams?...
He's still getting 15 touches a game. That's good enough for a bench spot in a deep league.

You look good to me. I think Big Ben will have some nice numbers this week. He put up solid numbers last week when he was suppose to be "rusty".

DeAngelo Williams v 49ers or Marshawn Lynch v Cards?
That's a good one. CBS has Marshawn Lynch as the start of the week. But Carolina is coming off their bye, going with Matt Moore and SF has to travel East for a 1pm game.

I feel like the Stars have aligned for Williams. And you will hope Carolina fixes something after the bye to get their stud running backs going.

i'll hope so. I've got a Gore in that league too so just need to hope panthers v 49ers becomes a running contest haha

i'll be in real trouble if both defenses stuff the run!

Can't start both? Guess you have a Peterson or Johnson?

That's almost too close but I'd go with Williams.

Danny Woodhead vs SD or Chris Ivory vs Cle Gore is my other RB
Chris Ivory. Now that he has established himself and he has the youth. The Saints will let him try it again.

I tell you what. Chris's breakout last week had a big affect upon Thomas owners when he does come back.

Just don't stalk me when Woodhead goes off for 12 carries 180 yards , 4 catches for 50 yards and 3 TDs. Anything's possible.

But I still like Ivory to get the majority of touches for NO. It's not like he broke off one or two long runs last week. He was consistently picking up huge chunks of yardage.

thats what i was planning on doing if Lynch blows up on sunday!

its one of the annoying things about fantasy football, its easy to see how other people should start but you get paranoid about your own lineup haha

You guys playing for money? Or just sore losers? LOL

It's not that serious.

Champion gets some money but mostly my league does it for the trash talking during the season(and the Sunday football parties)

Ummmmmmmm Fantasy Football is a game brought down by the God's. When you play for money, especially in a league with some good friends, it's that serious.

Having friends in the league makes it more enjoyable. The trash talking goes on all year long and the draft...is hilarious.

I think the god's name is piggus skinnus

Chris Ivory, Knowshon Moreno or Ryan Torain this Sunday???? Pick un
Close but i like Ivory, like Pu said in an answer to a previous questions he'll get a lot of touches. Also against cleveland i'm seeing the saints getting up early, look for him to do most of his work in the 2nd half

Sometimes its good to look at the situation, then others its good to go with your gut, and other times its good to go out on a limb.

It's just so hard to be right in Fantasy Football. That's why people usually hate any prominent fantasy writer i.e. Matthew Berry. Because people expect these so called "gurus" to be more right.

But they are doing the same thing I do, look at matchups, gut feelings, stats etc.
