Hahaha! Thats hilarious. I want to win games. I think Steve B. and Ozzie are on the same wavelength.

If you've read my other recent posts in other threads you would know that I think it's a smart football move. But what is so hilarious about caring about a good dude that has given so much of himself to this football team?

Housh is another sure handed, possession receiver. I thought we were all wanting a fast, burner receiver to stretch the field? Ala Stallworth. Well, when Stallworth broke his foot, the next best option to stretch the field in my opinion was Clayton. That was the entire point of this topic I created.

No one is arguing Housh isn't good, but he isn't the burner big play maker we need, which Mark has shown sparks of.

And to those saying its funny how Clayton gets love after he's cut, I've always defended him and feel he's been a slot receiver lined up in the wrong spot.

See I on the other hand would have been more happy with keeping Clayton. He's never had the chance to excel in the slot, he knows the playbook, he has chemistry with Flacco, and he could also be a potential kick and or punt return since he is the 3rd string WR.

I also think TJ is old and washed up, and could potentially be a bit of a head case.

"Washed up" TJ still played much better than Clayton last year.

T.J is better than Clayton which is what counts now, but you have to remember that next season all 3 of our starting WR's will be in their 30's (if Mase doesn't retire).

I just hope in 3 years we don't look back and wish we took Marshall and/or VJ, that and T.J can play like Mason when he's 36,

Housh averages 74 receptions a season

Clayton averages 47 receptions a year

Gotta go with the 70+ reception guy and previous pro bowler.

Clayton was a first round draft pick. I was ready to get rid of him after his third year. Hands not bad but, not enough production over the years.

If in 3 years, the Ravens STILL haven't drafted or developed a WR who can contribute, that will be pretty embarrassing.
