Anyone watching Cincinnati vs. NC State tonight?
I watched a little of it while I was at the gym, and boy I'm trying to figure out how NC State got 14 points, to me they should still have 7. I saw the play and the running back had 1 foot out of bounds at the 3 or 4 and even with the ball stretched he doesn't have a Touchdown and the ref had the perfect camera angle and to over turn it and he didn't. I liked how the announcers covered it up by saying there was no real evidence to over turn it, BS! His foot was clearly out of bounds and didn't deserve a TD. I think this sums it up(this is my FB status right now)

"I'm watching the Cincinnati/N.C State game and if I thought the NFL confused me I'm even more confused now. In the NFL, you can have both feet in the end zone, full possession and have a deserved TD took away; in College, a player can step out at the 3 and get a TD, how does that make sense?" - My FB Status just a few minutes ago.

I notice that Michigan and Wisconsin each had a scare in their games today - close scores against UMass and Arizona State, repsectively.

I would love to see either of these schools beat the living daylights out of The Ohio State University when the time comes, for TOSU just makes me sick.

Expect Miami to move up a few spots after we escape Columbus with a win >.>;

On a side note, I'm tired of the Crimson Tide lol
Why, because they play great D and special teams and don't have a lot of penalties? Or is it because the last time Alabama played Miami they shut them up and kicked their butts on the feild. I love that Alabama's players know what to to when they score a TD (they hand the ball to the ref and then head to the sidelines). You sure as hell don't see their D celebrating a big play like the majority of other schools (The U).

Who cares what Miami does after a big play? I'm sorry, it's not like Miami is the ONLY school who celebrates after a big play. Last I checked celebration, as long as it's not taunting or excessive, isn't against the rules. You're claiming Alabama never celebrates? How about when Cody blocked either of his field goals last year, I remember him running around like a kid on Christmas.

Anyways, the last match-up between Alabama and Miami has nothing to do with my growing tired of the Crimson Tide as of late. I never insinuated it did. So stop jumping to your conclusions and acting like an arrogant tool.

I have learned today that a local television station here in the area where I live will be offering Big East Conference football broadcasts during the season. At least, that's what I understand.

Now I'll cop out to being one for the Big Ten Conference, which has eleven members and will grow to twelve next season, as well as for the Ivy League, but I also enjoy the Big East, as it is on a smaller scale - for a BCS conference - and has two teams which I favor in football, those two being the 'Cuse and UConn.

I just hope the season works out for the conference, especially those two schools.

Miami vs. Pittsburgh should be very entertaining tonight. You have two potential first round talents in Pitt's WR Jonathan Baldwin and Miami's CB Brandon Harris going against each other in and a bunch of other really good players on both sides.

Miami pretty much held Pitt in check the entire game. Although Jacory really needs to cut down on the interceptions in away games. At least he got two touchdowns to even out the two interceptions. I'll tell you what though, although with some absolute stud defensive players coming out of Miami in the upcoming years, they're going to have some amazing return guys as well. I'd love to see Baltimore draft Benjamin. Shame that punt return for a touchdown was called back thanks to a block in the back (well, two blocks but who's counting).

The return specialists are pretty amazing. Benjamin as a Raven would be awesome.

Jacory doesn't have the strongest arm but he doesn't help himself either by trying to float deep passes to his WRs.

Jacory really hasn't impressed me when I've watched the U this year. The D, on the other hand, looks phenomenal. There are a lot of good looking pro prospects on that unit. Didn't really see too much of Baldwin either.

Locker looked absolutely horrible. Could he be this year's Jevan Snead?

Harris has moments/drives where he's locked in and throws perfect passes(his deep ball to Benjamin on the first drive last night being a perfect example) but he has problems with consistency.

I notice that Wisconsin and The Ohio State University each put up at least seventy points in their victories yesterday. This should make for some interesting poll results later today, if not tomorrow.

Harris also tends to struggle more on the road, at least with his turnovers.

What are your guys thoughts on Denard Robinson the Michigan QB? I was watching the Michigan and Indiana game and they mentioned how he was the front runner for the Heisman and to me he looks like he could be the next Vick who is a QB but more so uses his legs to beat you.

Today against Indiana, Robinson was 10/16 277 Yards with 3 passing TDs, and rushing wise he had 19 carries for 217 yards and 2 TDs with his longest run being a 72 yard run. What do you guys think of him and could he succeed in the NFL as a QB or is he going to be a RB, or is he more of a Vick type?

Being a michigan fan I'm a little biased I think he's great lol even tho I usually can't stand run first qb's.he can wing the ball as shown today and can make sone throws I see him coming in maybe as a vick type qb.
It will keep defenses on their toes and if he gets drafted to a team with a decent running back it could open up his passing game

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, he'll be more of a Vick type and judging that he is a sophomore the first time he can enter the NFL Draft is 2013 I believe, maybe 2012 not sure. By the time the 2012/2013 draft rolls around, I'm sure Oakland, Miami(if they aren't happy with Henne), Bengals since Palmer will be old and they will need a new Franchise QB, maybe the Steelers(depending on Ben) Jaguars, Titans, Washington(especially if they extend McNabb between 2012-2014) Minnesota could finally draft a Franchise QB(I think Vick ends up with the Vikings next year and will get a good deal) but it certainly will be interesting to see how he would do in the NFL.

I'll grant that Denard Robinson is very good, and is just what Michigan needed at this time, but I would think it would be a little too early to rate him for the NFL.

Denard's got a big challenge coming up in the form of Michigan State, and the rest of the conference schedule will close with The Ohio State University. I'll be watching to see how things go.

So, Alabama has fallen from number one due to their loss to South Carolina. Ah, well, if anyone could figure out how to beat the Crimson Tide this season, it would have to be the Old 'Ball Coach.

Now, due to this change of situation, The Ohio State University is at number one in the polls, and they've got Wisconsin coming up. I am willing to give the Badgers the benefit of the doubt in this case, as the game is being played at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. I just wish I could be there for that game.

On Wisconsin!
