I'm not much of a college football fan. But this Michigan / Notre Dame game ain't half bad.

I'm absolutely disgusted with this Miami/Ohio State game. Harris apparently doesn't know which team to throw to, the defense is lethargic at times and failing to get the stops to get their offense back on the field. Not to mention, the offense has been sluggish while it struggles. If it were for those kick off and punt returns for touchdowns, this wouldn't even be a game. Disgusting.

I'm sitting across the street from the PSU campus in State College, PA. This place is going nuts anticipating for the PSU game.

Omg South Carolina please get out of here. I'm tired of the Gamecocks and Miami ruined my day.
Miami ruined mine too.

One of the worst games I've seen from the Hurricanes in a while. Numerous miscues on offense, penalties from the o-line, a blocked kick; it's like they were finding ways to shoot themselves in the foot. I refuse to blame the D considering Ohio State's average starting drive position was basically at the 50.

The only positive is that it wasn't a conference game but the way Miami lost was unbelievable.

Hopefully, they rebound against Pittsburgh next Thursday.

Miami can't afford another loss, especially one so soon. I don't know who beat Miami worse, themselves or Ohio State.
If we're talking national nhampionship, they definitely can't afford another loss but considering they haven't won an ACC 'Chip since joining the conference, I was skeptical of their chances at a Fiesta Bowl berth going into the year.

As for today, I think they beat themselves worse. I could stomach the first and second INT but the third one was unbelievable.

:) 14-0
17-0 you mean. *HURL*

I told the guys (coworkers) not to turn the game back on...and that's an order. Penn State's just too young to handle the SEC this year. This bodes bad for Ohio State and Michigan later in the season..

I did the same thing. I knew we really didn't have a chance but 17-0 @ halftime....

I just flipped past the PSU game... and damn, I thought Miami played poorly today...
Damn rookie QB. Everbody here in State College are walking around the streets with their tails tucked in between their legs.

Geez did anybody just see that crazy beastly 72 yard run James from Oregon just broke off?
I did just now and wow.. he simply refused to go down before the endzone. Outstanding run.

As for the Hurricanes, that was a pitiful performance.. You don't win a game against the Buckeyes with 4 INTs and two wasted FGs..

Yup. Alabama made Bolden look like the true freshman he is.

Buckeyes prevail and make Miami look bad... with the exception of special teams.

PSU did all they could.. it was a really tough matchup.

I find it funny because of VT drop,Boise State didn't get more 1st place votes. Not to say they belong there,it's just funny when you beat someone and they fall, you aren't taken as seriously.
And Maryland got 6 votes for top 25

They shouldn't get more first place votes though.. they didn't beat a top 10 ranked team and it's clearly obvious. VT along with the ACC is always overhyped. Tech didn't deserve to be ranked #10 and it shows.

Good for Maryland getting some votes.

Woooo I'm surprised that Penn State didn't drop out all together after that Crimson shellacking on Saturday.

What y'all think about Reggie forfeiting his Heisman? Think the Trust will give it to Vince Young or just keep it vacant?

I think that Penn State got the daylights beat out of them by the Tide, yet I still hold out hope for the Nittany Lions and JoePa - the team in the blue and white may have an interesting season yet.

As for Reggie Bush forfeiting his Heisman Trophy, I think it would be best if the trophy winner for 2005 were just kept vacant, mostly because it wouldn't be right to go and try to change it now.
