I'm looking forward to the game too. I'm not a fan of either team but Ryan Williams is really fun to watch.

After seeing the 'Canes destroy Florida A&M (Jacory Harris is the real deal), I'm looking forward to a great game against Ohio State on saturday. That will definitely be a game to watch, hopefully Allen Bailey and Marcus Forston wreak havoc against that Ohio State backfield.

I was really shocked to hear that JoePa had decided to start a true freshman quarterback. But after watching significant portions of the Youngstown State game, I see why the choice was made.

Man, if he starts four full years.....wooo a force to be reckoned with. Of course the Penguins aren't the Buckeyes or the 'Huskers but wow...I am really going to like the Bolden to Bracket connection.

I can't wait for this game. Bailey and Forston should shine but don't forget about DE Vernon Olivier. He's really talented. And speaking of talent, the talent in the RB corps and defensive backfield is just ridiculous.

If Jacory can avoid the big turnover(s), Miami should win.

Anyone watching the Boise State vs Virginia Tech game?

It could be one helluva matchup.

Edit: ESPN America almost made me look very stupid.

I can't believe I forgot about Oliver. That defensive line is seriously stacked, it isn't even funny. Actually, I'd go as far as to say the entire team is stacked, some areas just more so than others. There's no reason Miami shouldn't be very successful this year.

Terps had a huge victory to start the season against a highly touted midi team.

Was a hard-fought game but Maryland pulled it off.

Virginia Tech is getting mauled by Boise State.
VA tech is no competition for Boise State tonight. VA tech is making way to many errors because they are getting out powered by Boise St.

If the game continues on this way. Boise st would really put a stamp on the start of this season.

Navy should of beat MD by atleast 20 points but for some reason they kept having Dobbs run it in at the goaline causing him to fumble like 4 times. That was an irritating game.

However, the Boise St game was a good one. Wonder what Kellen Moore will do in the NFL....

I am rather pleased to see Michigan and Wisconsin do well in their season openers, likewise Boise State.

I just have to wonder how the season will play out.

Also, I am one for the Ivy League, as that conference is a nation unto itself when it comes to football. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the 1935 Princeton team which went undefeated for the season - 9 wins, 0 losses and 0 ties. Four of their wins came by shutout.

This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the 1970 Dartmouth team which went undefeated for the season - another 9-0-0 record and finished 14th in the final poll for the season. This should make for some very good college football discussion.

Reggie Bush being stripped of his Heisman is absolutely ridiculous.... did receiving those benefits do anything to affect his performance on the field?? No! He dominated college football and earned that award fair and square, NCAA "violations" notwithstanding.

Hopefully give Leftys a better name.

Maybe give Leftys somebody to watch for good throwing mechanics. The ONLY reason I quite like Boise State is because Kellen Moore is left handed, just like me.

Irrational or what?

As I am one for the Big Ten, I am pleased to see three from the Big Ten - that is, other than "The" OSU - making the poll.

I am particularly hoping for Wisconsin to do well, along with Iowa, and I see that Penn State did well with a true freshman at QB. It looks like Joe Paterno may have something good going this time around, and when any of these teams play "The" OSU, I am hoping for them to demolish the Buckeyes, as I am originally from Michigan, hence my sentiments.

Tomorrow... the game to watch is Ohio State and Miami, no doubt. Should be a great battle between two Top 25 teams. It may have only been Florida A&M last week, but Miami looked explosive on offensive and suffocating on defense. Ohio State will be a huge test for them early in the season.

At the end of the first:
Miami: 7
Ohio State: 3

That was one hell of a run back by Miller. The Miami offense needs to get something going though.

The Miami offense may be struggling, but damn... their special teams is killing. A Kick off returned for a touchdown and a punt returned for a touchdown.

This Miami at Ohio State game is rediculous.

What the hell's happened to Jacory Harris? I thought playing in a Raiders uniform made you play like crap, but apparently Oakland overalls'll do.
