My internet keeps stopping...It stays connected for about 5 minutes get dis-connected then I have to reconnect. Any one know a solution? I already checked for viruses and had none.

Every other PC in my house wireless mine needs a Linksys USB extension base and it only get internet from that..I lost power recently and it's been like that ever since due to the PC being on at the time of the outage.

you may just have to reboot the wireless router,they can get fussy also,I have to reboot mine fom time to time to get my PS3 in the bedroom to connect to PSN,

Everything else is fine really it's just my computer..

Maybe it's in the settings. You could go to network/wireless connections. Right click on Wireless Network , select properties. Go down to Internet Protocol , hit properties. Make sure "Get IP Address automatically is check"

If it is. Try renewing the IP address on your comp

Click the Start menu button on the Windows taskbar.

Click Run... on this menu.

If the computer is holding a current IP address, type 'cmd' (without the quotes) in the text box that appears. A command prompt window appears on the screen.

Type 'ipconfig' (without the quotes) to view the status of the computer's IP address(es).

If the computer is holding a current IP address, type 'ipconfig /release' to let go of the address.

Type 'ipconfig /renew' to obtain a new IP address (whether or not the computer is holding a current address).

The start menu. Are you on Windows or a Mac?
