Considering changing my pick to the Ravens. Jets have talked too much, and that generally doesn't work out against B-more. I'm going to sleep on it.
Stop trying to beat around the bush with your pick. We know there's a purple shirt under you somewhere. Pick the Ravens.

Just come over to the Dark Side (in your opinion), Warden. You know you want to.
Like you've never picked the Steelers. This has nothing to do with fan hood.

Sticking with the Jets I think. Sorry for the false alarm.

I'm already in a Yahoo Pick 'Em group but for the sake of it I'll be posting mine here also.

Cleveland Browns at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tampa Bay Two bad teams, I'll take the home team.
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills: Miami Bills are bad.
Cincinnati Bengals at New England Patriots: New England Tom Brady at home.
Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans: Indianapolis Peyton Manning > Texans
Denver Broncos at Jacksonville Jaguars: Denver Jags are bad.
Atlanta Falcons at Pittsburgh Steelers: Pittsburgh Falcons are overrated.
Oakland Raiders at Tennessee Titans: Tennessee Raiders are bad.
Carolina Panthers at New York Giants: New York Panthers are bad.
Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears: Chicago Two bad teams, I'll take the home team.
Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams: Arizona Rams are the worst team in the league.
Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles: Green Bay Eagles gave away their franchise QB for an unproven guy. They're gonna wish they hadn't when they get out-gunned by Aaron Rodgers.
San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks: San Francisco Seahawks are in self-destruction mode.
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins: Dallas Cowboys look much better than the Skins right now.
Baltimore Ravens at New York Jets: Baltimore Mark Sanchez has shown me nothing that makes me think he can handle our defense.
San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs: San Diego Chargers just have way more talent.

I've edited mine and I'm going with Cleveland and Carolina to come away with road victories.
Carolina is going down.

Wow you think both NY/NJ teams will lose in their new stadium? Interesting.... all I have to say is John Fox is getting fired after this season so that pretty much tells you how I think the Panthers will do this season.

I was going to go with Cleveland but the way Suh just dominated the Browns offensive line, I can't help but this Gerald McCoy would do the same.

I love Carolina's ground game and they have a really underrated secondary which leads me to think the Giants won't be passing much. It will be a ground vs ground matchup and I have a feeling the Panthers will edge it out.

That was a tough one to call for me, actually. I give the Giants a big advantage being the home team.

So is anybody going with last minute changes in their picks for Week 1? I just changed the Bears/Lions game to have The Lions winning. It will be interesting to see who gets the most games right.

Yeah, I just changed Cincy to a loser (had NE losing) and also changed it to the Bears winning....originally had them losing.

Week one of the NFL Season and the second season of BR.com You Pick 'Em is underway. With that said, let's take a look at this week's pick distribution:

Neither the home nor the away teams are favored this week, 8-8.

This week's toss-up picks are Atlanta/Pittsburgh, Jacksonville/Denver, Indianapolis/Houston, and New York/Baltimore.

Good luck this week, everyone.

I was torn on the Redskins / Cowboys game last night. I wanted Donavan to win but had picked Cowboys to win in the league. I'm glad the Redskins got the win but my league point was called back on Holding! Haha

Redskins looked pretty solid, they've changed my opinion on how I will pick them this year for sure.

I have 9 so the best I can do is 11-5 which isn't too bad to start but dang it Sam Bradford let me down... I thought for sure the Rams were going to win.

8-6 bleh.

Dallas really should have one that game and I meant to change my pick to Houston over Indy, I thought I did but I didn't realize until halftime. So if you would kindly change my record to 10-4, I would greatly appreciate it :P

Just kidding, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Chargers drop the ball.

The way this Chiefs game is going, they could run away with it.

Chiefs just look energetic and so good against the Chargers.

Yeah I know I thought about picking the Chiefs but figured the Chargers would find a way to win... and I tell you something watching this game....

The Chargers need Marcus McNeil and Rivers is missing Vincent Jackson. I now regret starting Malcolm Floyd on Fantasy Football.

Wow... just as I'm writing this McCluster returns a Punt for a TD! 21 to 7 Chiefs.... I really wish I changed my pick to KC now.
