Just signed up and made my 1st week picks, barring any injuries in the next week.
Yep the best thing about Yahoo Pickem is you change your picks up until 5 to 10 minutes before Kick Off so while you need your pick for the Saints/Vikings Game in before Thursday you can wait on your Sunday Picks.

I've done the CBS version in years past and that ones great. Only difference I can see on this one is the CBS one you rank each game from 1 through 16 representing your confidence score and you get points that way. Meaning slam dunk games (like a Colt/Raider matchup) you would pick Colts at 16 and a more difficult to predict game (like a Ravens/Steelers matchup) you would choose Ravens at 1.

Good luck to everyone!

OK.....so a guy at work stated, within ear-shot of three of us willing to take the $20 bet, that his Bucs will go 11-5 minimum.

Can I take part on the bet? :lol3:
Hey, I'm always willing to make twenty bucks out of nothing!

On a more serious note, the Bucs could and should be improved this year with the acquisitions of McCoy and Price as well as Benn who gives a target to the developing Josh Freeman.

Agreed I think the Bucs might get 9 wins this year. In a pretty tough division as well. 11 is a bit of a stretch though.

I'll bet him $20 that The Bills will pick in the top 3 next year... lol jk but that seems like a much easier bet to win. With the (Insert Top 3 Pick Here) the Buffalo Bills select Jake Locker or (Insert Top Left Tackle)

Yes The Bucs will definitely be improved. I don't think Raheem Morris is the guy to lead them but they made smart choices in the draft this year and they should look at bringing in a new head coach whether it's some Super Bowl winning coach or some Coordinator but they need a true head coach who can help them win, that other than their offense and their secondary are their only weakness on the team.

lol, is the Ravens game a close one or what?
NYJ - 51%
BAL - 49%
Is that national or is that just our league.

I swear if anybody is picking the Jets, they should have their left nut, lopped off.

I know its only one pick out of 16 games for the first week. Why are the first nine people tied for first place and the next 20 or so are tied for 10th place? Then of course there are those that picked the Vikes to win in last place.

Like I said I know its very early but just wondering why everyone who picked the Saints to win arent just tied for 1st place. Silly I know but just a question???

Considering changing my pick to the Ravens. Jets have talked too much, and that generally doesn't work out against B-more. I'm going to sleep on it.
