That was pretty stupid of the Boys. 4 seconds left and you try a run play. That's like Madden play not NFL. You take the kneel. There is no chance of scoring on that play. Just take the knee. Know you have Karma.

Miles Austin TD!

Wait... Austin spiked the ball in the end zone meaning he didn't complete the catch and it is a incomplete pass so go over turn the ball refs.

Yep it is Ed Hochuli all over again. Let's just say the Lions are close to making the playoffs and miss out because of having 1 less win than another team.... boy will the refs hear about it than since it would cost them a playoff spot.

Also I'm going to say that about any and every catch this season when I see a guy be clear in the end zone, both feet in and has full possession and he spikes the ball, puts the ball on the ground, or anything similar and say how that should be over called.

yeah I yelled that over in the Calvin Johnson thread,this better not cost the Lions a playoff spot..Not saying they will go but hey you never know

That's a huge emotional hit to the Lions. I don't understand that call at all. They got robbed. The Lions should be 1-0 with some confidence right now. It sucks that they lose a game even when they convincingly won it.

It that why they ruled it incomplete? That's insane...I thought once the receiver had control of the ball across the plain, it was a TD? I didn't think it mattered what happened to the ball after that.

CJ had both feet in bounds and clear possession but CJ moved the ball to 1 hand and that hand went down and the ball hit the ground... ok it is hard to explain but I was just really bringing up that because if CJ's catch was ruled incomplete because of the ball touching the ground than so is Mile Austin's TD since he spiked the ball and the ball hit the ground.

I thought he controlled it long enough with his one hand to rule it a TD anyway. Terrible call in my opinion...but, I also want to see the Lions have success, so maybe I'm biased. I feel bad for them.
